Good very expensive. Pool was divine - sunny and shady areas, infinity edge, two hot tubs!! Sloth Garden Tour was the best ever! Lots of wild sloths, fabulous guides who help yo take iPhone photos with their scopes!! Great private truck tour - guide Katherine knew where everything lives, and took us right to them. Not much walking, exciting spotting, excellent photos!! Fishing tour through Botanika was much better than one we booked in town. Expensive for a private charter, but we caught 2 Needlefish and several Jack. Botanika is a beautiful Hilton Curio property located opposite the airport (not a problem) on the edge of a lovely piece of jungle property on the edge of the bay. To be clear the bay is a bit of a walk from the property but there are nature walking trails. Pros: Modern, clean rooms; thoughtful staff & housekeeping); excellent restaurant and bar at pool; and a fantastic pool/Jacuzzi they have bulk sunscreen (great idea). The beach shuttle (4x4 Land Cruiser) takes you to a private, quiet paradise with full beach bar & menu. We literally were the only ones on the beach for a 1/2 mile each way. We had a wonderful lunch after a few restful hours walking, swimming and lounging They provided beach towels. Walk back to the Crocodile Bay property and Dining: Great breakfast but a bit pricey, dinner was very nice at the restaurant. The pool bar’s quesadilla was an amazing choice.
