The property was extremely clean and the staff was attentive when needed. The inconvenient issues was they continuously run out of towels for the pool and beach, the wait time for a drink at the swim up bar was too long and food options was limited.

Beautiful, clean & modern property with nice rooms, comfy beds, beautiful beaches, nice pools and amenities. My only complaint is that there were constant shortages of food and alcohol, in all bars and all restaurants on the property (example mojito ingredients were rarely available and desserts/mains not available on menus at speciality restaurants. I have addressed this issue with guest services for hopes of improvement.

5/5 Stars – An Unforgettable Solo Trip! I absolutely loved my time at Royalton Chic Antigua and I will definitely be back! I traveled here on a solo trip and never once felt alone. A huge shout-out to the entire Vibe Team! Neil and Tim are the perfect duo—they always had everyone laughing and brought the best energy. The nighttime shows were also fantastic and always super entertaining. I also want to say a special thank you to Anita, who checked on me every single day and beautifully decorated my room for my birthday. She made me feel so welcome and cared for. Was always interested in my videos from excursions prior to the night before. If you are thinking about booking a solo trip here, do it! Thank you to the incredible staff for an amazing stay.

The food was amazing! And the property was beautiful and well maintained. Only part I didn’t like was check-in. I was staying for a short time so I wanted to go to the beach as soon as I arrived on the property. There wasn’t a place to change or luggage storage so that I could lock my things away while I was at the beach. So I ended up wasting time in the lobby

Resort and room were very clean, and the view from our room was great. Unfortunately, the service experience did not match the property itself. Most of the staff seemed annoyed when we asked for simple things, whether it was ordering a mimosa at the bar or asking for ice in the Diamond Club lounge. This was something we experienced daily at the restaurants, lounge, and bars throughout the resort. Another disappointing issue was how often they were out of basic items. Three of the four days they were out of champagne for mimosas. I had to try three different bars before finally finding one that had it. Another day they were out of champagne, piña coladas, and strawberry daiquiris. It honestly felt like if you ordered something from the menu, there was a good chance they wouldn’t have it. The food truck was good, but even there the same issue happened. One day I ordered a cheeseburger and was simply told they were out of cheese. Then I ordered the chicken patty, and they were out of that too. It became frustrating because no alternatives or solutions were really offered. The same thing happened with the bourbon in the lounge. It was gone on day one, and every day afterward when we asked if more had come in, we were told it would be restocked that night. By day six when we left, it still had never been replenished. Overall, the resort itself was beautiful and clean, but the lack of inventory and the attitude from much of the staff took away from the experience.

Spent 4 nights at the Resort. The welcome drink had alcohol which I do not consume. They offered to get me something else however it never came. Checked into the room and it was hot. Bellhop attempted to adjust the settings, but it did not change. Slept in a hot room. Reported the next morning, no one came. Reported it again late afternoon which is when someone showed and said that it was sorted. Left for an event and came back late. Same situation. Reported it again. The AC was only fixed properly the day before I was scheduled to depart. At no point was i offered a room change. To add insult to injury, I ordered room service on my last night, and I received my cutlery wrapped in a fully stained napkin. This was it for me. This is one property I will not return to.

I traveled with 5 of my bridesmaids for my bachelorette trip. Half of us stayed in what was supposed to be an upgraded Diamond Club room. The day of check in, they did not get access to their room until 9PM. They were given a hospitality room with a sink and shower and forced to shower and change. When they complained and requested compensation for the inconvenience, they were only offered a bottle of alcohol which we all felt was not sufficient. The best place to eat on the resort is Haven Grill. The steakhouse was very mid and bland. I liked my lasagna at the Italian restaurant but some of the girls did not like their food. The chicken wings in the sports bar were also really good and the female bartender in there made the best drinks on the resort (ask for a passionfruit martini). The spa was also beautiful. Julissa did my 80 minute Hot stone massage and it was perfect. The hydrotherapy pools were also complimentary when you book a spa service. The resort does provide daily entertainment, however, it caters to Caucasian tourists. My friends and I are all of Caribbean descent and were disappointed with the quality of entertainment for our demographic. The staff members who made and served our drinks at the various bars around the resort really made our stay memorable : Yoan, Courtney, Adrian and Marlon went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable and our cups were never empty.

Stay in the resort, skip the St. John's local stores because kids still like to mess around with tourists. The Kings Casino is very very dark inside has many closed restroom stalls and that is why all the women have to use the men's restroom stalls. Lots of resort staff turn-over , many new people, some pool bars need inspection when the sun goes down to remove dishes/empty drinks. On the positive side the beach is clean, the rooms are clean, no bugs on the beach/pool areas and no bugs in the rooms/restaurants. Some room doors look, beat up and made us ask if they had a security problem or forced entry issue. Our Butler(s) were great, but the activities staff in the lobby are too young to take tourist questions seriously without sharing giggles, etc. We enjoyed the shows on the stage and the restaurants. The pool staff keeps the pool clean. Very good air conditioning and overall a nice resort.

The room and bathroom was smaller than we thought. The bar at the pool wasn’t adequately stocked and kept running out of liquor. But the staff was very friendly and accommodating. The steakhouse ran out of steaks and only had flank steaks and none of the enhancement was available. The Italian restaurant food was great and service. The event staff was great very friendly, spoke to everyone, engaged everyone. Our check-in experience was horrible. It took very long to get our room ready. We were last out of a group to get our room. It took about 2 1/2 hours after our 3 PM check-in time.

This resort is the most relaxing and provides entertainment nightly. Best restaurant is the steak house! And buffet near by. We went off season! I’m guessing due to this staffing was slim and so some restaurant staff seemed rude and sassy. But they didn’t ruin our mood and relaxation.
