"It’s a beautiful property. We had a moose with 2 babies visit us a few times. That was a thrill. The stairs are a bit steep going to the master bedroom but there are good hands rails to help. I works stay again. Loved it."

The Lynx's Den

The Lynx's Den

10/10 Excellent
"From the moment we arrived, The Lynx's Den felt less like a rental and less like a "vacation property" and more like coming home. Every surface was spotless, every corner thoughtfully arranged, and the warm, personal decor made it clear this was a labor of love rather than a cookie-cutter listing. Tucked at the very end of the block, the house backs onto endless forest, giving us a private, tree-lined retreat that felt worlds away from everyday life ‐ the kind of seclusion you dream about but rarely find. The property itself felt enormous, sprawling like a triple lot, with plenty of room to breathe and explore. Inside, the comfort continued: the beds were, in my wife's words, "extremely comfortable," and we genuinely slept better here than we do in most rentals we've tried. The host was a fantastic communicator from start to finish, anticipating our needs before we even had to ask ‐ everything we could possibly want was already there, and then some.Check-in and check-out were refreshingly simple. Gathering our things, taking out the trash, and bundling up the towels took no time at all, a small but telling sign of how well-organized and guest-friendly this place is run. We left already talking about when we'd come back — if we're ever in the area again, The Lynx's Den will be our first call, no question."

"Very nice rental, everything was well organized and very clean. When issues arrived, the renter was VERY responsive and the fix happened quickly. Check in and check out were smooth, with no issues even with a late check in because my flight didn’t get me there until after midnight. Very quiet and secluded place away from everything, but close to the Base, exactly what I was looking for."
