Very glad we could stay here - great location - great bed for a good night sleep - breakfast was over the top - sausage - stuffed French toast - fresh bread and jam - fruit - granola - Anna was great - very helpful and caring young lady - we will definitely desire to stay here again when we have the opportunity

We had an incredible stay here. The Bedford Inn is lovely! It was cozy and clean; the breakfast was delicious; and it is ideally located a very short walk to beach and near town! The staff was warm and added to the homelike feel. I highly recommend!

The Bedford Inn is a very nice, friendly place, well placed for walking to many areas of Cape May, and not far from the beach. The room was appealing and clean. The building is a lovely Victorian former home. Give it a try!

It was located a block from the ocean and walkable to shops and restaurants. There was a breakfast buffet in the morning, tea and coffee were always available and there was a refrigerator to share with other guests. Our bathroom was tiny(Ellie’s room) but manageable. The best part was sitting out on the balcony, porch, or sunroom, reading or having breakfast.

The location is the key. It’s about 1 block from the beach and an easy walk. Also very easy to get to Washington St shopping and restaurants. Parking at the site is limited to only a few compact cars. We enjoyed breakfast and meeting other people at the table and hearing of their adventures as well. Staff were very attentive and easy to work with.

What a beautiful Inn! Good location for the beach. The parlor and dining room was more beautiful in person than in the pictures. The room was adequate with some nice antiques as you would expect. I wish there had been another chair there for my husband to sit. Don't always like sitting on the bed to watch tv or eat something. The mattresses should be turned over or replaced. It was quite soft especially on the edge. Breakfast was delicious. Best stuffed French toast I ever had! Nice gal keeping everything going! I sure appreciated having free parking on the street! The whole town has paid parking everywhere. What a turn off! A lovely place to stay in a lovely town!

I loved the combination of a homey historical house, with modern day amenities. The room was on the third floor which was a bit of a challenge for me but the space was perfect for me and my daughter. The daily breakfast was always great food, and the patios were so nice and convenient. The location was walking distance from the beach! The staff was very friendly and accommodating!

Our room was clean, comfortable and beautifully decorated in the period of the Inn. All of the common rooms and the porches were also beautiful and comfortable. The Inn is in easy walking distance of the beach, shopping, and streets full of gorgeous homes, also beautifully decorated in the style of the 1800’s. The Inn provided perfect beach chairs and towels. The breakfasts were delicious and varied. A wonderful getaway!

The staff were super helpful and kind and the room was cute. Only thing was the deadbolt on the room door did not work at all. Other than that the food was good at both the Bedford inn and their sister property. I would definitely stay here again!
