Great place to spend a night awaiting our Carnival Cruise sailing the next day. Was only minutes away from the cruise terminal. The front desk was friendly and professional. Valet service was prompt and had our car brought to us in minutes for our morning departure. Walking distance to anywhere you needed to go. Would definitely stay here on our next visit to New Orleans.

All employees were friendly, approachable and helpful. This hotel is in a great location to get to just about anyplace you would want to go in New Orleans and close to some great places to eat. We walked to the river, French Quarter, World War II museum and Smoothie King Center. We took the streetcar to the Garden District. The hotel has great dark and moody New Orleans vibe. However, the dark vibe carried into the bathroom which made it a bit difficult to see if you are trying to apply makeup. More lighting would have been good! The valet parking was easy and our car arrived quickly upon departure. Great place to stay!

Perfect location! Clean and quiet hotel very close to popular areas. The service staff and front desk staff were PHENOMENAL. So friendly and helpful, that was the highlight of our stay. The included morning coffee downstairs was also such a nice touch and is something that would make me want to come back again. The only reason I gave it a 4 star instead of 5 is because the inner rim of the toilet in my room was quite dirty and the shower head had a build up of calcium. The room was overall relatively clean, just needed a little bit more of a deep clean inside the washroom. Overall definitely reccomend!

The hotel' location was convenient-- close to several good restaurants, yet away from the busy French Quarter. The valet parking was convenient as well and safe (I ha a bad experience in this neighborhood parking a rental car on the street several years ago.) The bed was very comfortable and for once, I didn't play Goldilocks trying to find a pillow that was just right. The hotel sent texts every day to check on my satisfaction and I appreciated that.

I will stay here whenever I’m at an event at the convention center. Great location and very reasonable prices for a four-star hotel. One thing that could be improved… give guests a bottle of water each night. It’s really hot in New Orleans!!!

The staff at the Cambria were lovely. The hotel is in a great location. We had inclement weather but otherwise you would have been able to walk pretty much anywhere. I was able to walk to the casino, the French market, and bourbon street. If. The weather was nicer I could have even walked to the river walk. The room was fairly clean when I arrived. My one complaint was the bed. The mattress was very uncomfortable on one of the beds in room. However, I switched beds on the last night and it was fine. They are also doing quite a bit of construction in the area of the hotel so it could get loud. Other than that it’s a great place to stay.

This hotel is located in an “upscale” and “safe” area of New Orleans. It is pet friendly which is a plus. Very quiet and secluded from all the noise and rowdy crowds from the french quarter but still close enough that you can walk everywhere. The staff is very helpful and friendly. The room we got in the pet friendly area, had leftover dog treats and chips on the floor from the previous guest, the seat at the end of the bed was broken most likely bitten off by the previous guest’s pet as well but was quickly removed when we notified front desk. One of the bed sheets was also broken or bitten off but everything else was clean and smelled nice. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and if by a miracle we decide to visit New Orleans again, we would book here.
