A cute a quirky location. The decor was so fun and we tried every chair in the lobby. (The two armchairs by the fireplace won our impromptu chair rating contest.) Valet was easy and quick. Very friendly staff with a welcoming atmosphere.

Nice, friendly hotel and the location is excellent. It's right in the heart of Burnside. Powell books is right around the corner, Classic Collection Hats is close by too. There are plenty of restaurants, bars and a big beer garden with 20 food trucks and picnic tables.

As a hotel general manager, I choose not to stay in hotels when I travel often as I need the break. But I was so happy I chose to stay at the Royal Sonesta while seeing a concert in town. My King suite was so beautiful and the views were perfect. The bed was very comfortable and the black out curtains were true to their name. The staff was accommodating and friendly. I would stay here again in a second and recommend it to others.

We came to the Royal Sonesta last minute after a very bad experience at another hotel in town and they were perfect. The front desk was very helpful in getting our room arranged and explaining the details. The room was large and clean, very fun designs and worked great. The bed was by far the best bed I've ever slept in at a hotel in my life and made the entire stay worth it. The only thing with the room is that the doors were a little squeaky and a minor mixup with the keys when we used the valet but the hotel fixed it all and we had a wonderful stay. The breakfast is also very good even though it's not included. Overall this is a fantastic hotel and I would stay there again in a heartbeat.
