The property was amazing! The staff was so nice, and the room was nice and clean. A huge bonus for us was that it’s pet-friendly, which was exactly what we were looking for! 🐾 The property was nice and quiet, and we really enjoyed the pool! Overall, we had a wonderful stay and would definitely recommend it for a quick weekend getaway. We’ll definitely be back!

We stayed only one night in the end of September. It is off season in Palm Springs so we were almost only guests in the hotel at that time. The room was very nice, looked like on the pictures. The surrounding near the pool was also very nice, just quiet because of the off season. Anyway we had a good experience overall. :)

The room was clean and the pool was nice. Only downfall was that there was no food on site, we didn't know that the kitchen was being remodeled. Also, you cant use the ice machine unless the pool is open. That was a pain. Otherwise, no issues. If there was on site food we would stay again.

Upon arrival we were greeted by an empty “lobby” that lacks a check in desk. After wandering around and waiting a while, I opened a door labeled laundry where a young woman was standing on the other side watching us from a monitor on her tablet. We called several times while trying to check in with no answer on the number listed. The pool and outdoor area were much dingier than pictured. The room was fine and the bed was reasonably comfortable. We did have to ask for towels each day as no one ever came to clean our room. Overall, there are much better places to stay in Palm Springs within the same budget. I personally wouldn’t choose Royal Sun a second time based purely on their lack of customer service and support. We purchased resort passes to other properties and would highly recommend anyone staying at Royal Sun do the same.

Summer is generally NOT the season to visit Palm Springs, so the hotel was a bit empty. The rooms have been renovated only 2 years ago, so the rooms are clean and up to date. Deliciously soft towels and fantastic pillows. Maybe trying to be a bit too trendy with fancy electric kettle that isn't exactly intuitive. The pool is decent size, and is unheated, which is fantastic for a cool plunge. Breakfast (fruit, pastries, juice, coffee/tea) included was wonderful and made up for the restaurant being closed for renovation. Location just off the main strip was nice ND easy access.

LOOVEE THIS HOTEL! Excited to see how this lovely boutique hotel continues to blossom under the direction of wonderful staff & design team! The decor, the location, the food, the kindness and recommendations of what to do! I will definitely be back. It was such a relaxing time with the best chicken tacos pool side. We enjoyed riding the complimentary bikes downtown and sitting by the fire pit chatting about life. Thanks so much for such a nice mommas weekend away <3
