We had a no view room situated on top of the laundry ,adjacent to the maintenance area for vehicles with staff arriving at 5.30am which is early for us to get up in the morning --- noisy . This side of the hotel is next to the entertainment area of the next hotel which is noisy up to 11.30pm. There are not enough sunbeds so you have to put your towels on them before 7am or use other hotels down the beach

Our stay in this beautiful country was more fantastic than we ever could ever have dreamed. The staff at Belizean dreams went above and beyond to ensure we had the absolute best experience possible. Great staff and nice resort with large rooms. Bar options are somewhat limited and food was good but not great. The town of Hopkins is economically depressed but the people are very friendly.

We spent 5 fantastic nights at Belizean Dreams. We found the room to be quite comfortable. Rooms were in the process of being updated. Ours hadn't been done yet, but it just needed a fresh coat of paint and new electrical wall plates. Otherwise, it was fine. The staff was incredibly helpful and found us a lighter blanket when we requested one. Airport transfers were a snap. The location was gorgeous, and the locals were warm and welcoming. We only ate breakfast in the restaurant, but the fresh fruit, yogurt, and granola we had was excellent. All in all, a great place to stay!

The staff were EXCELLENT! I would go back because of their willingness to help accommodate and make everyone feel at home. Rooms were very clean. Not a large selection of food at restaurant but was very tasty.

Belizian Dreams Hopkins

Somewhat run down old timeshare nestled between nice resorts. Staff very nice, trips in area is a commitment to drive. No sandy beach in front as waves bring huge amounts of seaweeds. Snorkel and dives at least 35 min boat ride away. Resort calculated my package price wrong. Booked with Expedia much better offer. Belize is interesting but the BD charges to much for what it is.

I went specifically to relax and rejuvenate and that was accomplished. The staff are very friendly and attentive, particularly in the dining room and bar area. It was also interesting to see the lawns being raked everyday and kept in great condition and the seaweed which washed up on the beach area being cleaned up an carted away. I would certainly return to this resort.

We had such a pampered time during our visit. I didn't want to leave. The staff are wonderful. The people in Hopkins village are respectful to each other and very accommodating to American tourist. I would go again.

Even the husbands will like this place!

Very relaxing and laid back. Staff was fantastic, unit was great, food and drinks were yummy, hammocks on the beach were comfy. All units seem to have a water view. Other restaurants nearby were great too. Maybe best cheeseburger of my life was at Loggerhead's just down the street! Back to Belizean Dreams Resort! The staff gets to know you and what you like and go out of their way to make things happen. This was a girls trip but we will be going back with our husbands!

worth trying! Service is superb!

I couldn’t say much for their hospitality. Every staff was warm and welcoming. The room was always kept clean and everytime we came back from a day trip there was always fresh towels folded and arranged in animal shapes. My favorite was the rabbit, I guess, that’s how it looked like to me. The beach is really good for swimming and basking in the sun. If you like to snorkel, ypu uave to take trip into the islands. The room had the basic amenities you would need. Not luxurious but will keep you refreshed once your back on a trip. A few not-so-good things to mention but were really not a deal breaker. The tv reception was very grainy. The internet was very slow and intermittent, at times non-existent. It’s nice to be connected back after being disconnected from the “outside world” all day during the trip. It’s a dirt road leading to the hotel. The atmospehere though is very laid back in contrast to the more touristy location in Placencia. If ypu are going around Belize, you might as well rent a 4wheel suv, cheaper and you get more freedom. Definitely will consider Belizean Dreams on our next trip to Belize! And I do recommend that you give it a try, too!

The draw backs for this place is the location versus the sites you want to see. Most are 2 1/2 hours away. Also, after coming back from tours, there isn't any entertainment in the evening. If you just want to relax mostly then it is an excellent spot to be, especially with the great staff.

Very beautiful resort!

We enjoyed our stay here last week. The surroundings are beautiful and the staff are wonderful. The assistant manager is particularly great at what he does, making sure everyone is enjoying their stay. I cannot say enough about the quality of the food and the wait staff...all excellent! The outdoor bar area is fun, located right next to the pool that overlooks the beach. Beautiful views from both the pool area and from the rooms. The resort provides transportation to multiple tours in the area. We rode horses through the rain forest and visited the Monkey River which provided opportunities to see multiple forms of wildlife in their natural habitat.

Great experience

Wonderful area, very relaxing and hotel staff was amazing! Wonderful people and they know how to treat their guests. More intimate resort versus a rowdy crowd or "party" resort. Great for a couple get away!

Good place to relax

Can't say enough about the staff - super friendly and helpful, offered great background on the area and knew our names after day 1. Family of 4, with 2 kids under 13, just perfect for chilling out. Kids mined all the coconuts they could reach (sorry Sergio!). Snorkeling was a great trip, the waterfall trip was a tough one for the kids. Would definitely come back, we thought it was a good value.
