We had a great stay at Franciscan Lakeside Lodge! The room was clean and comfortable, the staff was friendly, and the private beach with beautiful Lake Tahoe views was a huge plus. We also loved that Kings Beach was just a short walk away, making it easy to enjoy the restaurants, shops, and lake activities. A wonderful place for a relaxing family getaway—we would definitely stay here again!

Location of the resort was great Our room faced the dumpster and we were right next to the main road so the traffic noise never stopped. Room was warm and we had to open the windows to cool it off. But the traffic noise made it hard to sleep The private beach was beautiful The pool was great Our kitchen was great.

The room was on the lakeside of the property, but very little view. The room itself was just ok. Out of date VHS with small TV. Bed ok. Freezer door in fridge was broken and would not stay shut. On the upside, the property location on the lake was excellent. Nice pier and peninsula grass area. The chairs on shore provided a nice area for relaxing and watching the sunset. Lake Tahoe itself never disappoints!

My stay was excellent. It was better than I expected. The cottage was perfect size, right by the water. It had a full bed and sofa bed. The kitchen was fully stocked with kitchen utensils, cups, plates and pots. It had an electric fireplace that kept the room at the perfect temperature. I would book here again every time.

Lovely property! We arrived a bit early and our cabin was ready, but I didn't realize that the forest side cottages were across the street (I booked this too quickly). So I asked if a lakeside upgrade was available (#32) and indeed it was -- and it was cute and quaint and right by the lake (parking lot in the way, but that's ok). The unit was super clean and you can tell someone put a lot of love and cute details into it. Full kitchen and big fridge and plenty of space for the two of us. It's rustic, so expect an older style, but very fitting for Tahoe and very functional. The beach is fantastic and even has a pier on which we practiced yoga. There are chaise lounges available and we didn't even have to fight for them :) -- there were plenty. Staff was kind enough to give us a checkout 1 hour later and we were also able to enjoy the beach until it was time to head to the airport. Would absolutely come back -- next year? Highly recommend. Private beach in Tahoe -- enough said!

Based on a couple of reviews that were less than optimal, we were not sure what to expect. However we were delighted with the property! The check in was efficient and staff very friendly. We had reserved a studio, which was clean, delightfully decorated with all amenities needed! The bathroom door wouldn’t close properly but that was the only detraction. The location was really great…only a few steps to the lake! The property is close to a grocery store and several nice restaurants. An added benefit is that is away from the crowds of King’s Beach! We will certainly rent at this property on our next visit.

Used the room for two nights, Friday and Saturday, parking was easy and right in front of our room. Was able to check in after hours with lockbox option, room was clean, cozy, and small kitchen was perfect for us getting in late so that we could warm up our dinner and get the bed. Area was quiet, bathroom was clean and had everything we needed. Important things were stocked in the kitchen, bulls played silverware, soap, sponge, salt and pepper. Toaster microwave, all which was helpful and table available to eat at. Appreciated communication with the staff the following day to check in on how we were. Definitely will use again as last ng as rates don't raise.
