We have been visiting London annually for the last 35 years but this is our first time staying at the Berkeley, and I am so glad we tried it. The service was great and the ambience even better. We took advantage of the gym, spa, pool, rooftop pool and all the restaurants and we were pleasantly surprised. Also, the rooms were very comfortable. We will definitely be staying there again!
This was just a short weekend trip down to London with my daughter. I wanted to take her to the Natural History Museum and stay somewhere nice. The Berkeley is a wonderful hotel with a lovely staff. I will stay here again.
The Berkeley is a first class hotel in every way. It has been recently renovated with high quality furnishings. The cafe/bar area is cosy and fresh flowers abound.Quality art decorates the lobby. The staff is friendly and polite. The food is excellent
It is my favorite hotel in London.
The Beautiful Berkeley hotel has bern ruined. No porters greeted us do had to carry luggage in ourselves. Messy and cheap looking “reception” in the muddle of a smelly bakery/cafee. The famous gym and pool combo where one can tryly relax is gone. Have to go to another hotel through all sorts of restaurants and baars for breakfast and gym. Mattresses did not fit oversized bedframes and we got all bruised. Wc and showers without doors - disqusting. Stairways outside window required us to have curtains closed all day. Only thing not screwed up was Blue Bar. Shameful. Management nerds to be changed
I didn’t have a great stay I ticked the good star.
The thing about the Berkeley is it should be re-named as it bares no resemblance to the original Berkeley Hotel we first stayed in 30 years ago .It has gone through some great changes over the years the Blue bar and Collins room designed by David Collins and didn’t Sir Richard Roger’s design the entrance .
Now you have the Collins room area that has nothing to do with the hotel and a strange mash up between the new Emory hotel owned by the May
