Good location and clean design/boutique feel hotel. Social happy hour was a nice addition to our stay and we really enjoyed the ambiance of the lobby bar area. Interesting design with the stepdown bath with a view, overall was a comfortable stay

The room we occupied most likely had bed bugs or something that bites and causes itchiness. Our family of 4 got bit on different areas of our bodies in the room. I looked at the mattress cover and did not find any bed bugs but we still got bit many times. Room was very small.

Just like the name “Episode”, this hotel is there to create an episode of great memories. Things such as the in-room cd players, free happy hour social and drink session, and the different music you hear in the hallway and the elevator, make this hotel quite unique. In addition, the location is pretty much the best in Taipei hands down. I would recommend this hotel to others and will return again.

The internet was good, not super fast but adequate. Our one major disappointment was the breakfast. It was not one of the sumptuous buffets that most higher end hotels in Asia serve. But rather an assortment of so/so meals at the Texas Roadhouse. One cup of coffee. I would pass on the hotel breakfast and find something in the area.

This location was decent enough in terms of proximity to subway, 8-10 minute walk from the Red or Blue line. There isn't a lobby for check in rather a small desk off to the side on the 5th floor's lounge. This which makes the hotel feel less like a hotel but a hostel. Staff were nice and amenities were good. There is a Texas BBQ and coffee shop downstairs, and happy hour at the lounge -which we didn't get a chance to use but it's there. Overall a decent stay but would probably choose a different hotel next time.
