Lakefront calm with New England polish

  • Signature dining

From Rose Tavern’s wood-fired menu to dockside Sand Bar comfort classics.

Believe the other positive guest reviews - The Lake House is exceptional in every way! Traveling with our dog couldn’t have been easier. Except for the pool, we took the dog everywhere including the outdoor dining areas at both restaurants. Staff is attentive and incredibly friendly. Easy walk to off-site pubs, pizza, ice cream etc. Gorgeous lake views. We were so happy to find this beautiful hotel and will return whenever we can.

Beautiful property with views of the lake and several fire lots and beautiful landscaping. The staff very helpful and The Rose was a great experience with delicious food. Ate there 3 times in our 4 night stay. Fletcher was great with day trip ideas and Meghan was a pleasure to talk with and made great drinks. Our new waitress, Ronnie, was also delightful and everyone made our stay special. We will be back.

Property was well kept. Rooms could be cleaner. Staff not the friendliest. Fitness room is small. Pool is good size.
