The bed was comfortable and the air-conditioning in the room worked very well. The hot water tank in the shower was a little confusing to figure out, but once we figured it out the water got hot and was comfortable. The main issue was the surrounding area. The area did not feelsafe, with homeless men and sex workers on every corner. It is very close to Khao San but not in the middle of the chaos so you have some quiet. The area is chill and close to many coffee shops, street vendors and temples while still walking distance from Khao San. For someone first time in Thailand this is amazing - also the staff is there 24/7 and so so helpful with booking, making calls and helping navigate the area. The staff especially Su-Ay (Sandy) was hospitable helpful and so sweet and accommodating. The only issue was the shower with low pressure and cold. However our friend also stayed there and it was only our room. Hotel has info posted on common scams, which we did encounter so the “heads up” saved us confusion, delays, and possibly cash.
