Cheapest bed in Reykjavík!

Just needed a spot for 2 nights after a tour and before my flight home and this was perfect. Hotels are very expensive in Reykjavík and it was a holiday weekend as well, so the hostel was a great choice. You can’t beat the location, in the middle of everything! Elevator, everything was clean, bathrooms in the shared room, lock drawers under the beds, bar and kitchen upstairs.

Very clean and a great location. My only feedback is that the hostel is so loud at night with music, i was up until four am because the entire room was vibrating from the bass. I wasn’t really sure where to get towels either, but I didn’t ask. The guy at front desk was helpful when my card kept declining.

Great hostel in a central location

Great hostel in the center of Reykjavik. As everything you need for a comfortable stay. I was in a 6 bed dorm with toilet and shower ensuite. The bed was very comfortable. Great kitchen facilities and social area. Wonderful roof top view for viewing the northern lights if you are so lucky!

Everything Ok. Good dorms and located in downtown (A little bit noisy on Saturday). A good choice for a single traveller with some flexibility.

Friendly, helpful, clean, great location, great to be able to easily store bags, super helpful booking our shuttle, the carpets would be much better swapped out to tile or wood, rooms are a little dark and the booming music next door was you know, loud. Love the common room and patio. Breakfast was super efficient.

Overall location is why you would stay here. It’s smack dab in the middle of downtown. The wifi did not work in my room, they were having issues with the radiators while I was there and the kitchen was overrun with “free” food. The staff was lovely and accommodating. The lounge area is nice but closes at 11 which was a bummer since it was the only place I got reception. I would stay here again.

Excellent location for museums, tour bus stop, grocery stores, restaurants. Nice kitchen! Good security, everyone gets a personal entry code for the combo locks for each dorm and for each room. I had two roommates in a four-bunk female dorm. Met other nice people too! Towels are rented for $5 per stay. Breakfast is about $8.20 with lots of variety and GOOD coffee included. There is good storage for luggage on your departure day.

Very helpful staff. Clean and safe rooms. Great deal all around. No parking in the area, which is difficult if you're bringing backpack or luggage. My room had 8 bunks. Some people were quiet & considerate in the room. 2 men in the room turned on lights, talked and made loud, lengthy phone calls while others were trying to sleep. Typical hostel behavior, but it would be nice for the hostel to have shared room courtesies posted.

Easy enough to find. Walk in on the ground floor, though you need to take the stairs or elevator up to the reception on the 4th floor. Reception is behind the bar and the staff were welcoming. I arrived a lot earlier than check-in time, though was able to store my luggage in the storage room whilst I went for a wandee around the city. Wi-Fi worked well. I returned to the hostel later and chilled out in the seating area for a bit. Rooms were clean, sheets on the bed folded up so that ypu can make your own bed. I was in a 8 bed room but there was only 4 people staying in there each night so nice and quiet. People staying all were respectful too, so worked for me.

AMAZING !

Ohhh man . It was an impeccably neat clean and an amazing place to stay. Right in the middle of downtown, you will be spoiled for choices for the restaurants and pubs around . Not to mention their very own bar on the 4th floor . I had booked a bed in a six dorm room with a private bath. The room was very spacious and well maintained . The staff at the hotel was very well mannered and ready to help . I am all the more happy about this place is that I got reservation for only 5 days and balance two days I had to check in to a different place . Comparing the two I feel loft is a way above. Kudos to the team and would highly recommend my friends and family to stay here . Loft it up . Skal. 👍

I was underwhelmed by this place unfortunately. Didn’t have proper lockers in the bedroom and it was so noisy that I only managed to sleep for one hour before I had to catch my flight. Every night there are people screaming in the hall next to the bedrooms. I wouldn’t stay here again.
