Had an awesome stay here. The view of the lake was beautiful, the food was excellent, and the service throughout was fantastic. The entire team was warm, attentive, and incredibly helpful, which made the stay even more enjoyable. Would definitely love to come back!
If you are visiting Japan and want to step away from the city life for nature, then HOSHINOYA Fuji is a perfect spot. We glamped for a few days in September, and though Mt. Fuji did not make an appearance, the experience made up for it in full. There are so many activities to participate in, we cut wood, did breath work, made pizza, and enjoyed their amazing menu for all meals. It is a must stay if you come to Japan.
An unforgettable stay at Hoshinoya Fuji. The setting is absolutely breathtaking, and the staff were exceptionally professional, attentive, and generous throughout our stay. Every detail was beautifully handled, making the entire experience truly special.
This was a special.place. we loved hiw embedded in nature it was while providing excellent facilities and a room with a dead on straight view of.Moun5 Fuji and privacy.
As an architect, I appreciated the design immensely.
I urge all to check this very special place out.
The property is beautifully located so you can have a clear view of Fuji, weather permitting and we were lucky enough to have a view of Fuji which made our stay all the more special. Thank you so much to the very attentive staff.
Waking up everyday to a spectacular view of the lake and Mr Fuji, walking up the forest to enjoy camping coffee and ending each day with meditative fire gazing in this amazing hotel…
I really enjoyed my stay with Hoshino Resorts. The facilities were well maintained, and the staff were incredibly kind and attentive. Whenever I needed assistance, they responded quickly and were very helpful, which made the whole stay feel relaxing and comfortable.

The staff was exceptionally friendly and helpful from the moment we arrived. The view of Mt Fuji was magnificent. Although the dining room was closed for renovation, the breakfasts and dinners were delicious, and delivered to our room. We could enjoy our meals looking at Mt Fuji from our deck or from the room itself. We would highly recommend this hotel to anyone!
The room was amazing and Mt. Fuji was extremely visible from the room. The staff were so friendly and went above and beyond!
We only wish the activities, cafe were closer to the room or if they would shuttle you to the cafe. To many steps to deal with.

I would discourage anyone to stay at this hotel, it is massively overpriced for what it offers besides gorgeous views of Mt Fuji. You are dependent on very polite yet hard to understand staff for every move you make because they need to drive you to and from your room, you will be in an area far from any stores or restaurants and you will have to wait at least 20min for a taxi that will cost about $30 to $60 one way to get into a more populated area anytime you want a meal because the hotel is not an inviting place to stay. The room is beautiful yet the general facilities look run down. This is a great place to stay if you pay max $250 per night but they charge 3 to 4 times that price per night. We have a hard time understanding the positive reviews of this place. Again, the views are wonderful and the room is beautiful but to get in and out is a nightmare, and the price far out of proportion.
Can’t say enough good things about Hoshinoya Fuji. The staff were so friendly and attentive, and the property is perfection. One of those rare situations where the promo photos
Amazing property built into the hillside. Rooms have phenomenal views of Mt Fuji. The staff is excellent, providing great service. Delicious food, too!
Amazing location and service. Limited options on food but it was all delicious. The room was very comfortable, clean, and had a great view of Mt Fuji. I would highly recommend this place if you want to spend time in nature and luxury.
