The DoubleTree Hotel in San Pedro, California, provided a comfortable and enjoyable stay. My stay here was welcoming and smooth. From the moment I arrived Emerson and the security did their best to make us comfortable until our room was ready. Although we waited a few hours for our room, because we arrived early we were able to secure our luggage at the facility. We were also able to lounge in the common area until our room was ready. I definitely will stay here again. Thank you to all the employees for their kindness.

The location of the property is amazing! Being able to walk around the pier was truly a big plus. However, being charged $25.00 per night for parking (parking is on their open parking lot); requesting housekeeping and not getting it; having the ice vending machine close to our room broken and having to walk clear to another wing of the hotel to get ice; a smelly room; noise outside our window early in the morning; limited channels on tv were the reasons I give this hotel a poor rating. The hotel seemed dirty and just not well maintained. In addition, being a no cash hotel made our prior monetary arrangements difficult to manage.
