We absolutely loved our stay at Gordon Lodge. The property is so beautiful. The staff were all friendly and very helpful. The breakfast was delicious. We used the bikes that were available and enjoyed an amazing bike ride along their well marked trails through the woods. Highly recommend Gordon Lodge.
This is my 4th time at the Gordon Lodge and it’s definitely one of my most favorite spots to stay at when i’m in door county - check in / check out was a breeze and the breakfast was delicious with friendly morning staff! I can’t wait to come back next season!
The lodge was beautiful and each room has a private patio walking out to the lake. The walls were thin so we could hear our neighbors very clearly. We had some tiny ants in a spot on the carpet but other than that we really enjoyed our stay. The hot buffet breakfast was very good and there was a variety each day. We would definately stay here again.
A true hidden treasure. Grounds were beautifully landscaped and it was so quiet and peaceful. Staff were all very friendly. Breakfast was amazing Room was excellent
The property was very well maintained and the staff were very friendly. We loved the fall decorations that were located all over the property. Close enough to all door county locations without all the hustle and bustle of busy streets and a million people.
Everything was great, good food and service at the restaurant . Breakfast was good and the view was beautiful. Very well kept grounds. Can’t wait to go back.
We loved the quiet, out of the way location and the beautiful grounds. The sunrise over Lake Michigan was great and the the complimentary breakfast was very good. This is a wonderful older resort !
I loved the way property was maintained. However, weather wasn’t good and staying time was not enough to enjoy the activities within the property. We came at 5pm and left at 9:30pm. Diner was good at the restaurant as
Very comfortable, beautifully decorated room. Very comfortable bed and pillows. Recently renovated bathroom. The grounds are fabulous! Wonderful homemade buffet breakfast! We didn't get to use the amenities, but they have a heated outdoor pool and jacuzzi, bikes, kayaks.
What a peaceful stay. Since our stay was in October we were lucky enough to experience a more relaxed Door County as well as the delightful autumn planters and decorations on the grounds. Very lovely. We made the most of the breakfast buffet both mornings and were pleasantly surprised by the variety and quality of the offerings. A return visit next fall has been discussed.
The property was beautiful on a lakeside. The tvs were very dated and small. The pool/hot tub area at night was very dimly lit but nice and warm. The ac unit was difficult to figure out and would shut down after an hour or so

Very nice campus, sunset and sunrise was gorgeous! Staff was very friendly and breakfast buffet was great. Room was dated and mattress was terrible...well past useful life.
A beautiful location on the lake. We woke up to a beautiful sunrise right out our window over the lake. Trails were really nice to walk. We sat by the fire pit and enjoyed the warmth of the propane fueled flames and the beauty of the night skies. The staff was really friendly and helpful for suggestions in town. Breakfast is in a classy setting and staff serves you your buffet food and cleans tables for you. We received a bottle of wine at check in and would have liked to use the free bikes and kayaks but just didn’t have time. Gorgeous place to enjoy! Definitely recommend. Would be perfect for a wedding setting. Everywhere you look is colorful nature and landscape at Wisconsin’s best.
