Hilton Walk was great! The option to use the pool and beach at the Hilton across the street was such a pleasant surprise. The room was excellent, really large with a big bathroom and all well equipped, it was nice to have balcony looking over the marina. House keeping we’re brilliant however they did like to get in and sort rooms early, this wasn’t a problem for us. Lifts took a awhile to the main reception and my original impression was not enough for the size of building and demand but we realised after a day that there were extra lifts hidden away from the main reception which never got busy. The hotel is a lot quieter than it’s attached sister hotel the Hilton Jumeirah Beach whose facilities you can use. We enjoyed the beach and pool at the HJB, this was really busy at times but we always found a couple of sun loungers. The pool at the Hilton The Walk was a lot quieter and the staff were great. If you are looking for a hotel bar or restaurant you need to use the HJB hotel as facilities at the HTW were limited with some closed, this however was not a problem and you could easily transfer via a walkway between the two. Both hotels were well sited for everything along Jumeirah beach, couldn’t have been better. The stay was a good compromise, the quieter HTW to stay in and the livelier HJB for entertainment.

The staff and room service were excellent throughout our stay. Everyone was always friendly, welcoming, and willing to help with a smile, which made us feel very well looked after. However, the hotel rooms and the hallways are in need of renovation. The furniture, especially the wardrobes, feels old, and there was an unpleasant smell coming from the closets. Updating the rooms and common areas would make a big difference, as the service itself was outstanding.
