The Balmoral is a beautiful hotel! Its location is perfect since it’s close to all major attractions. The staff are accommodating and helpful. I’ve stayed in two different rooms and both were lovely and had great views. The restaurant is very good and the high tea in the Palm Court is superb!

The Balmoral Hotel was impeccable and very clean. The door mans were always very polite and helpful. The location is excellent near the Waverley train station and within a decent walk to Old Edinburgh. The only disappointment was that we had an emergency and wanted to leave one day earlier but the Hotel management refused to give a credit or a even a partial refund. We were forced to stay the extra night since the room fee was very high.

The staff and service at this magnificent property are wonderful. You feel at home the moment the door man greets you and you enter the hotel. Our room was spacious and nicely furnished. We would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone who wants a special experience when visiting Edinburgh!
