What a magical place! This place is full of hospitality. It was clean, the rooms are big and spacious. The beds are comfortable. They have everything you need for adults, kids, and family’s. We visited the Spa everyday we were there. AU and SA give the best massages, facials and are most accommodating. AU gives the BEST Thai massages! You have to visit the spa and ask for these two. The food is great! The bar is fun! Would definitely go back! Highly recommend!

The place to be if you travel With childrens, a lot of activities for them. Good food, beautiful resort but the best point is the personell. Really friendly, smiling and careful, from reception to swimming pool, to kids club till restaurant. Feel like at home , thanks

The Property is well maintained and is perfect if you want a silent retreat. Though Minibar in room only contains 1 bottle of sparkling water, 1 pack of juice and a pack of milk together with a small chips bag and crackers. Room service is only available until 2230 which i think is early for a 5 star hotel, the hotels shuttle service was a positive surprise even though there where not as many times you could order it. The staff was extremely nice and service minded which gav the little extra. Rooms are spacious and gave a feel of modern luxury. Breakfast was another positive surprise great choice of food and superb service.

Some refurbsihment work was underway in August 2023 when we astayed but we knew about this beforehand and it did not impact our stay. We stayed in a poolside room which was excellent. The only area for improvement would be the food which I would say is 3.5 out of 10 and is quiet expensive. However having said that we would visit again as the inflatable in the main pool is amazing and so much fun

Rooms 732 & 733, 15-17 June 2025. Excellent service throughout, very large spacious property but ... 1) our rooms were located on 3rd floor without lifts making it very difficult for older folks with heart & mobility problems. We were not told in advance or offered lower floors. 2) rooms were not cleaned & made up when we left in morning & returned after lunch. 3) both showers were clogged & flooded. Reported morning before we left & nothing was done till we returned & complained again.

Luxury, Serenity and Family Focus – So Sofitel Delivers Again” 5 out of 5 stars This was our third time staying at So Sofitel Hua Hin, and the fact that we keep coming back says it all. We’re very demanding guests, yet every time the hotel manages to exceed our expectations. The service is warm, personal, and attentive – almost nothing is impossible, and the staff genuinely go above and beyond to make sure we feel at home. While there may sometimes be minor language barriers, the kindness and dedication more than make up for it. What we appreciate the most is how well our children are taken care of. The Kids Club is of the highest quality, with plenty of activities. The option to book a private babysitter is a game-changer for couples who also want some time to relax and enjoy each other’s company. The food is a true highlight – varied, delicious, and of excellent quality. The breakfast is top-notch, with something to suit every taste. Even my wife, who isn’t a big fan of Thai food, always finds plenty of great options. The hotel grounds are large, green, and beautiful – ideal for walks and recreation, adding to the relaxed and spacious atmosphere. One small area for improvement is the gym, which could benefit from an upgrade to match the overall high standards of the resort. Although we didn’t visit during any holidays this year, we’ve previously stayed for both Christmas and New Year’s, and it was absolutely magical. We highly recommend it.

Wonderful stay

Great stay at a wonderful hotel. We really enjoyed our stay and the food was amazing. The only let down was noise due to renovation due August, which will be a great addition. We are definitely coming back.

Great stay at Sofitel, loved the mini golf.

Amazing stay, little issues about cleanliness but otherwise very happy.small spider in the room, but after we told the receptionist about it, they cleaned our room and everything looks perfect.

Comfortable hotel, good food, fun pool

Love the comfort of the high ceiling room. Pool was very relaxing. And the kids pool with the inflatable obstacle course was even fun for adults. Loved the food by the pool. Beware, lots of people of the weekend so have to avoid peak hours in public areas.

Great hotel with plenty of activities for families

The resort was great. The bike path, mini putt, and obstacle course were a family favourite during our stay. Unfortunately, the pool and restaurant closed midway through our stay due to new covid restrictions. As such, we could not use the pool and could only have order in food. Having said that, breakfast buffet was fantastic, the facilities were quite nice. Room was very comfortable and the air conditioning was top notch. We would return once Covid restrictions are lifted.

The hotel was not clean up to So sofitel standards. The pool area was very nice for the kids and adults. The room again wasn't meeting the sofitel standard for cleanliness. The hotel was understaffed. The FNB was quite good though. The room where we were staying was having construction right opposite and we had to call thrice before action was taken. Overall it's worth going because of the kids but otherwise it didn't suit our liking.

Just not 5 star service

While this resort has all the makings of a 5 star hotel (the rooms and amenities truly are 5 star) the service, particularly from the bar, lets this hotel down. It was a reoccurring theme (with waits of up to an hour to receive our drink orders). One particular afternoon the beach bar was closed due to rain and we were told to head to their HI-SO bar if we wanted to keep drinking. The problem is, there was no staff at this bar! I went behind the bar twice to use the phone to call reception and ask for a bartender, who showed up 20 minutes later. Oh, and did I mention it was their Happy Hour?! I would have spent so much more money at the hotel if I could just get service! Seriously, I left the hotel in the rain and walked around the corner to a tiny local food shop where I finally received the pampering that I wanted. Another night the drink service was so slow I left to buy some BYO beers for our room. Additionally, I recommend guests research the location of the hotel before committing to this hotel. It is approximately 30 minutes from Hua Hin. There are cheap shuttles offered by the hotel but at very sparsely scheduled times..., and (again, very un-5-stars) once they are fully booked you're on your own! The hotel has so much potential..., but unless the staff are retrained with a customer-centric focus then I can't recommend this hotel.
