Such a beautiful place. We loved our little A Frame cabin and the lodge was so beautiful. Breakfast was absolutely a must and I find myself craving some of the items we had. The property is perfect location near everything and the amenities were very relaxing! We would stay here again!

Awol is definitely a charming place to stay! Rooms are done in a very current esthetic and are comfortable and clean. The breakfast they offer is great! The home-made bread is spectacular! My only complaint is the exterior needs some attention. A good refresh of paint would go a long way.

The staff was lovely and the property is beautiful. Our room was ok. The location of the room was great (we were at the end) but the room itself was not very clean. It had damage and it def needs a little face lift. Loved the cute bar and staff. Just felt for what we paid it should have been nicer. Stowe is beautiful and the hotel is in a great location.

We had a great time in Stowe. The views and fall foliage are amazing to say the least, What a special time to be there. We enjoyed our stay at Awol. The room was decent, I wouldnt say it overwhelmedus in any way. The location was great for the area. That was the best part. We werent excited about the parking area trekking back in forth in the mud from car to room etc. Not sure what the thought pattern was for that but you get used to it I suppose. The staff were friendly, the breakfast spread was very nice. All in all not too shabby.

Star gazing by the fireplace, unique and cozy homestyle breakfast, great cabin, super kind staffs. We are already planing next visit and stay. One down side I must say is water pressure. It was very weak, but it did not steal the amazing experience at the hotel.

The one of the hot tubs went not working, so as sauna in the morning. Little bit of disappointment since we booked this hotel for the amenities…but staff were so nice and breakfast was really delicious. I will definitely come back if the amenities were improved.

Good location and good sized room. We enjoyed the sauna & hot tub. We found a lovely hike at the back of the hotel. Disappointed with the welcome generally and no welcome cookies which we had experienced AWOL we stayed at in kennebunkport. Room was cleaned in a timely manner but not very well, bits of toilet tissue on the floor… Breakfast, some good choices but not replenished, rubbery egg dish and dirty table. Had to ask each day for mugs & were given dirty ones. No space to sit other than outside on 2 mornings…. Lucky those days were dry. The breakfast was disorganised, dirty and unappealing. Staff were friendly.

The staff and location was great. We were looking forward to staying in one of the aframes to get a true Vermont experience.. we traveled four hours to stay at this spot. Unfortunately the cabin had no running water. The staff did try to make it right and upgraded our room but it wasn’t a cabin so we were very disappointed but made the best out of it and enjoyed the village and the scenery

We stayed here for our Anniversary and it was awesome! The room was modern and very cozy. The hotel was located in the middle of Stowe, Vermont so finding a good place to eat isn't hard to find. The fire pit outside along with the hot tub and sauna were also amazing. Overall, we would definitely comeback to a future trip in Stowe. On the side note, the breakfast spread is so good, just hits like home!

My wife and I had a wonderful two-night stay at AWOL Stowe. From the moment we arrived, the front desk attendant (Riley) made us feel welcome. He was incredibly friendly and shared tips and recommendations that helped us make the most of our visit. The hotel has a cozy, relaxing atmosphere that made it easy to unwind. We especially enjoyed being so close to the Stowe recreation Path. One of our favorite hotel amenities was having complimentary elevated breakfast. Loved the amazing homemade bread each morning. We had an amazing ride along the Stowe Recreation Path, another trip highlights was taking a dip at Glenn Moss Fall. Overall, AWOL Stowe exceeded our expectations. The exceptional hospitality, comfortable accommodations, and thoughtful amenities made for a memorable stay. We would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Stowe!
