My room was very clean, but did not have a fresh smell. The hallway carpets need to be cleaned desperately. I checked in on a Friday evening and the desk staff member was particularly friendly and helpful. I would stay there again.

Liked the size of the room. Liked the friendly staff. The breakfast was nice. The parking when something was going on at the convention center we had to park at the far end of the complex. Also the noise from the convention center went on after midnight. The courtyard they used for smoking was between our room and the convention center. The people as many as 8-10 of them were out smoking and conversations were loud after midnight when we were trying to sleep. But we stayed there the last 3 time we came up to Michigan and we will stay there again. Next time we will make sure we get a room in front of the building away from the convention center.

Pros: large room with work space, comfy bed, room was clean, AC worked well. Darkening curtains. Fridge kept things cold. Reasonable price. Cons: loud door slamming at end of hall every time someone walked through. You have to request room service. I called to get new towels and was told to "bring the used ones to the front desk to exchange them". We could hear the people in room above walking. Minimal breakfast options. You get what you pay for.

I love this hotel! ❤️Nice Clean room and the bed are so comfortable with reasonable price,the staffs are friendly and breakfast included! Bonus is at night there's no noise! There's no kids running in the hall or dog barking. This hotel allows pets! I can't say enough how wonderful this hotel is. Thank you for a great experience. 👍✌️

The floors in the room were sticky. There was gum stuck to one of the walls in the corner. And the facility smelled albeit like new paint, but it was pervasive and gave me a headache. The staff was very friendly and kind. Nice appearance from the outside

Had to be the worst stay to date for me at a hotel. Toilet was moving all over the place. AC stopped working and didn’t get fixed. Doors made horrible noises when opening and closing. Door cards stopped working everyday. Breakfast consisted of 3 oranges, a few bagels and some bread, instant oatmeal and rice cereal. Hallways smelled like weed, emergency lights not working and hallway lights out.the carpets were dirty and hallways smelled of moldy water when the weed smell wasn’t there. The staff were nice but that was it. Oh beds were comfortable so there is a positive. I would recommend going somewhere else if you can.

Beds and bedding were fresh and clean. Outlets beside beds didn’t work. Blown lightbulb in one lamp. Mold and mildew around tub. Toilet seat loose on one side. Built up dust around baseboards and corners of floor in bathroom. Overall, the property is in need of an update and vigorous cleaning.

The beds were super comfy. My only complaint was there was a banquet hall or event centre right beside our room so the music thumping was intense and although we couldn’t get to sleep early like we had planned it did stop by 11pm but beware if travelling with kids
