This was one of the loveliest hotels. The staff was kind, and friendly. My mom was injured and they were super sweet to her and helpful. The hotel and the surrounding area was beautiful. We had a great view of the gardens and will definitely book again.

One of the nicest hotels in Gröningen

We’ve stayed in Prinsenhof multiple times. A very nice hotel. Nice design, lovely view over the garden this time. Couple of small niggles with shower control not being 100%, and water scalding if you’re not careful

We had a memorable stay at the Hotel Prisenhof. Centrally located in the heart of Gronigen, there were numerous shops, restaurants and points of interest all within walking distance. Our room was on the upper floor of what we learned was previously a monastery. It had a lovely view of the garden and was very spacious, although we wished it had more natural light. Our bed was extremely comfortable and the room was clean and quiet. If you are driving, a tip is to park overnight at the Forum Gronigen, only a few minutes walk away. Another plus is the hotel is dog-friendly (for an additional fee).

The hotel is located on very short walking distance of the central square of Groningen. Also, museums, shops, restaurants and theatres are within short walking distance. The staff is professional and helpful. We had a suite. It was clean and well decorated. There is only one, but important, remark to be made. Although the staff during breakfast was very kind and giving perfect service, we were disappointed about the breakfast. The hotel chooses to serve a la carte in stead of a buffet. Which is fine, as long as the hotel provides a menu. Now we just had to mention some items and the rest was improvised by the staff. There was no menu to choose from. This reduced the hotel to a kind of Bed & Breakfast. If you give a breakfast a la carte you should at least give a proper menu. For us this is a reason not to return. The four stars for staff and service is due to the breakfast and not due to the staff. They should have five stars.

Hôtel idéalement placé prés du centre ville, tout en étant très calme car entouré d'un jardin et d'un parc. Personnel très agréable et prévenant. Chambre confortable et restauration de qualité.
