Room was clean and the staff was very nice. But the $30.00 charge for parking was extreme!!! I walk farther to my vehicle at my own residence. Do not think valee parking is nessesary at that hotel.

Very clean room and the staff was extremely helpful and pleasant. Nice breakfast buffet with lots of fresh food choices. Attached restaurants with bar and great food. Valet parking available is very convenient as street parking would have been a challenge. Excellent experience!

Excellent hospitality from the staff. We had an emergency at our home and couldn't stay the night, so booked at the last minute. In my frazzled state with two young kiddos, I felt cared for and welcomed by the front desk clerk and a hospitality staff who both assisted me.

Spent a great night, very comfortable bed and room. Breakfast the usual but a nice big area to eat in. Great eats at the nearby (ask the front desk) Irish pub, McGeary's.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ – Great Stay Thanks to Richard! We stayed at the Hampton Inn & Suites Downtown Albany for Parent Weekend at my son’s college. Hotels near campus were booked, so we chose this one about 15 minutes away, and it turned out great. Parking is valet only (it’s downtown, so that makes sense), and the valet staff was excellent—my car was always ready, and they never charged for parking. I just tipped them, and they were fantastic. At check-in, we met Richard at the front desk, and he’s the reason this review is five stars. He’s professional, friendly, and really goes above and beyond to make guests feel welcome. He reminded us about the complimentary breakfast (6–10 a.m.), which was very good. Every time we passed by, he greeted us with a smile and asked how our stay was going. The room was clean and comfortable, a bit small but nice overall. The bathroom was spotless. No microwave and limited space for clothes, but nothing that would stop me from staying again. It’s a pet-friendly hotel, and everything felt organized and safe. I’d rate the hotel itself a solid 4, but Richard and the staff make it a full 5 stars. If management reads this—Richard deserves a raise!
