Activity itinerary

Day 1: Ride from Pokhara Lakeside to Khande > Trek to Forest Camp (4 - 6 hours trekking)

Pokhara Lakeside

On Day 1 we start from Pokhara Lakeside early in the day to get to Khande. We start our trek from here, traveling to Forest Camp where we will sleep at one of the local tea houses.
Day 2: Forest Camp > Badal Dhanda (4 - 6 hours)

  • Accommodation: Overnight at Homestay
Mardi Himal

Day 2 we have breakfast then start our trek towards Badal Dhanda. We will walk through the jungles of the Annapurna Conservation District, filled with trees, some wildlife, and plenty of silence. Quite the beautiful hike! We will end our trek at Badal Dhanda where we will stay at a local tea house for the night.
Day 3: Badal Dhanda > High Camp (4 - 5 hours)

Mardi Himal

On Day 3 we march on to High Camp. This will take between 4-5 hours. As we trek we will start to get 360 degree view of the Annapurna Conservation District and the Himalayan mountains. The stunning views of Annapurna South, Himchuli, and Machapuchre aka Fish Tail, will bless us with their presence. We end our trek at High Camp where we will stay for the night and prepare for our early early Sunrise trek to the Mardi himal basecamp.
Day 4: High Camp > Mardi himal basecamp for sunrise > High Camp (4 - 5 hours)

We begin the day early around 4 - 430 AM for our trek to Mardi himal basecamp to see the sunrise. If we cannot get to the basecamp before sunrise, we will trek to the view point for magnificent views of Mardi himal and quite a few other mountains from the Annapurna range. We will enjoy the view before heading back to High Camp to call it a day.
Day 5: High Camp > Sidhing > Pokhara (7 - 8 hours trekking)

Pokhara Lakeside

On Day 5 we start the trek back to Pokhara. We start early as we head towards Sidhing where we will catch our ride back to Pokhara.
