We really enjoyed our stay at the Baron's house. Staff were super helpful, breakfast was amazing and room was comfortable. Grounds were beautiful. Highly recommend for couples or individuals.
Beautiful and quiet surroundings and the B&B was exceptional. That was our last stay for our 28-day Europe trip and I was glad to choose it. Eric was very helpful and friendly. Yummy breakfast!
This place is very special, it is in a great location and very close to nature. Whilst walking in the nature reserve it is very easy to get completely away from modern day life.
The accommodation is very comfortable and secure with a good breakfast.
This is our second visit and will not be our last.
Beautiful tranquil setting. Great terrace to relax at the rear of the property. Excellent service. Breakfast cooked to order. Very relaxing time. 10 minute walk to local microbrewery.
Although a little remote, the Barons was quite lovely. Very quiet and for us commutable to Leuven. Comfy clean beds and a nice en suite. Self service breakfast was continental in style but sufficient. The grounds of the Barons and woodland next door was lovely. The cafe up the road nice and De Kroon is a must do.

Liked: Cleanliness, staff & service, amenities
It was peaceful, clean, and had great linens, comfortable beds, good breakfasts and Rituals cosmetic products. The property needs some updating like new pillows, towels, rugs, and chairs. These items were quite worn looking. A quick fix would make this a 5 star rating.
Impeccable cleanliness, great indoor and outdoor common areas, nice cocooning room and bathroom, parking ok, everything indoor and outdoor is well-maintained, good communication with managers in NL/FR/EN. I really feel like home and a special thank you to Olaf for his very warm welcome and kindness all stay long.
However, few things could be improved: breakfast could have a larger choice of products (ex: waffles as in Belgium, cinnamon rolls, pancakes, sausages, potatoes, …) and, concerning the room, you could provide tissues, shower cap, conditioner and hairdryer in each room.
To sum up, I highly recommend this B&B.
Hartelijk dank/Merci beaucoup
This is a great place - highly recommend and we would be more than happy to return. We called ahead as our ferry was delayed so we knew we would arrive late - the owner couldn't have been more helpful - keys were left out for us and everything was ready and waiting when we arrived just before midnight. The room was perfect - very nicely decorated, beautiful furnishings and bedding and great touches in the room including the mini bar, shower gels etc in the bathroom and thoughtful positioning of light, switches and plug sockets. The breakfast was great too - good range of options and good service. Its ideally located for Brussels airport and a midpoint for us between the ferry and our next destination. We will be back if we are travelling in the area again as we prefer small independent places with character to bland soulless chain hotels
The hotel is well maintained, exceptionally clean, has wonderful linens. We stayed in an upstairs room with very narrow winding staircase with no handrails. Difficult to navigate as we are a senior couple. The room was small, but well appointed. However, the peaked ceiling did not allow for a complete wall between the bedroom and bathroom and afforded little privacy.
The breakfast was excellent and the staff were very accommodating. If we had not stayed in the attic room I would have given this hotel 5 stars.
This place was amazing, a hidden gem, and we wish we would’ve stayed more nights. We only stayed two, and had we known how great it was going to be we would’ve come sooner. It was in a quiet little neighborhood, very peaceful, the grounds are very beautiful. Svenja & Olaf were very nice and helpful and very clear with instructions for self check in since we were getting in late. The breakfast was wonderful the next morning, he cooked eggs and bacon the order, and they had many other options to choose from. Our room was very spacious and clean, we had a door that walked out to the patio. And while the patio was open to any one staying there, we ended up having it to ourselves most of the time. I would highly recommend this place to anybody staying in the area, and if we are ever here again, we will definitely try to get a room if it’s available.
I strongly advise against staying at B&B Baron's House (Room 8). We checked in with our infant baby, only to find serious hygiene issues—specifically a strong, unpleasant smell of damp mold coming from behind the wardrobe, along with visible dirt behind the bed. Additionally, the room lacked the view we paid for.
We reported the dirt behind the bed to the staff, but even after leaving and returning later, nothing was cleaned at all. When we asked to check out with a refund to find a clean, safe place for our baby, the staff responded sarcastically, saying "you are free to leave, this isn't a prison," while completely refusing any refund or resolution.
Very poor customer service, rude communication, and zero regard for guest health or basic hygiene. Avoid this place, especially if traveling with family!

Liked: Staff & service
Apart from the location and breakfast, the hotel was a bit of a disappointment. Our room was on the ground floor next to breakfast area which meant that people were just behind our curtains and we could hear the morning hassle.
Our room had worn out/broken sheets, towels and curtains. Showers curtain line had snapped which meant that there was no cover at all. The room was unclean from floors that werent vacuumed properly to spider webs every corner.
What we later found out was that the hotel property is on sale and service from last feedbacks had dropped significantly.
The space was very clean and the staff are friendly. The check in and out process was very simple. I love the breakfast and amenities provided.
I really can’t wait to come back here and invite some of my friends to join me.
On the last day of our 2 week European trip we had booked what we thought was an Air BNB. What it turned out to be was an apartment in a sketchy part of Brussels. Not expecting to find much at 4 in the afternoon I found this place called Baron's House. As we drove down a remote Road just outside of the city I was starting to question my choice. Until we went through the gate, what an amazing place, I only wish we would have stayed there more than the one night. Thanks.
