Our second stay at the Swan Hotel in Bibury, a charming, historic carriage house, we stayed in one of the adjacent stone cottages complete with kitchenette, cozy fireplace, upstairs bedroom and full bathroom, a second toilet and shower on first floor. Clean, welcoming staff, and historic country charm. Will choose Swan Inn again on our next visit.

One of the best vacation

Thanks for the amazing front desk staff and restaurant staff ( especially breakfast). We had a fantastic staycation with out 5 years old. The room decoration, bathroom facility and outdoor was magical.

Storybook Hotel

Staying at The Swan Hotel is truly like stepping foot into a fairy tale. It really does look as beautiful as in the pictures. All of the staff from the front desk to the bartender to the waiters in the restaurant were welcoming and made us feel at home. I wish I could have stayed longer and I will be dreaming of the day I can return.

Really loved the hotel and the surrounding area. Staff has a tough job keeping the street traffic out of their private, residence only garden and it was a bit hard to enjoy a quiet afternoon with so many day-visiting tourists walking around us. Otherwise, the food and hospitality is top-notch and everyone’s very friendly.

Loved staying in a beautiful part of the Cotswolds

The hotel is in the best possible location for Bibury and exploring nearby villages. Super friendly welcome for us and our dog. We enjoyed a lovely afternoon tea there. Lots of quality bits from the Nespresso, to the Milton Brown goodies in the bathroom. Breakfast was tasty with a continental buffet pre hot food. Only downside is our room was like a furnace despite turning the radiators down - opened the windows and it was then fine. I can see how parking would be a challenge in peak time (summer) but in winter it was fine.

The staff were wonderful from booking in to to dining at the property to checking out. I was very happy with the experience. The cleanliness in the room was very good, but in the shower I noticed black mold in a few places on the grout. I personally am not allergic to the mold but many people are. Perhaps the shower area should be inspected on a weekly basis?

Gorgeous experience! Perfect location to walk all around town. Restaurant on site or walking distance. We had one of the very spacious cottages. The 1st floor is a living room and going up the winding stairs to the bedroom and bathroom. Parking is onsite and whoever gets there first. Right across the street is a wonderful walk along the water that is filled with swans and ducks. Cute bar and outside patio with beautiful flowers. Staff are great especially Maria who is always everywhere being helpful with a beautiful smiling face! We really enjoyed our vacation time from the USA - thank you!
