Great location. Fairly clean-feeling rooms. Great air conditioning. But it’s understaffed. Terrible lighting in the rooms. The mattress is uncomfortable with a noisy plastic liner around it. Multiple staff members were rude at times. Called for clean towels and was told they had run out for the night. Hair dryer is very cheap and broke. The window shade lets in lots of light. Overpriced.

We stayed here for 3 nights. We had a corner room on the 2nd floor, which seemed big for NYC. We haven’t actually stayed in the city before so we don’t have anything to compare it to, but it was much bigger than we expected. They made good use of the space with a full wall shelf for belongings. 2 big windows gave us lots of light. The air in the room stayed on constantly which was nice, as I need white noise to sleep. Unlike many other hotels, it actually did a great job keeping the room at a consistent temperature. Our room was cleaned and towels refreshed daily, which was unexpected - most hotels seem to do that only once every 2-3 days now. The shower was nice, although the floors were a little funky - stained grout maybe? The elevators could definitely use some signage. There are multiple, and some don’t go to all the floors. Some have “R” next to the floor numbers, which I assume means it goes to the apartments that share the building (I’m assuming R means resident), but we only figured this out through trial and error. We had to ask how to get to the rooftop deck because one elevator takes you to a locked door that you can’t open. It’s not intuitive at all. The gym was nice. They provide wipes to wipe the equipment down after use and signs remind you to do so, but I never saw anyone else wiping down equipment. Thus, I also wiped the equipment down before I used it. There was a sketchy dirty bathroom attached to the gym - don’t use it. Go to Cafe Aroma for bkfst!

It's a good location if you'd like to visit the Highline, Little Island or Times Square. The people who work there are friendly and prompt in their service. The building and lobby is shabby. The rooms are spare and clean but too dark. It could use more lights. The handheld shower spray didn't work which was a slight inconvenience.

The female front desk receptionists were rude and unwelcoming. When I first arrived, I waited 20 minutes for the receptionist to return to her desk and walked around searching for a restroom. However, upon my return, she yelled at me and another patron for wandering around the lobby, since there are no bathrooms on the first floor. I paid $350 to be hollered at by hotel staff. 10/10 would never stay here again.

The cons: Felt like more of a budget hotel than the photos and website suggested. Staff kind of surly and not particularly warm (never responded to my "hello"s when coming and going). Zero atmosphere in the hotel - largely due to there being no communal areas/restaurants, etc. Tired rooms in need of a refresh. Shower kept playing up, spraying water everywhere through leaks, making an unholy vibrating noise when you had the temperature at a certain point. Annoying blinds in rooms that are tricky to control. Dirty furnishings (the armchair in my room was disgusting - I read to think what a blacklight would have shown). The pros: Great location. More in Hell's Kitchen than Times Square, which is actually much better. All the makings of a good basic hotel. Amazing gym for a hotel of its size - and in this area. Delightful housekeeping team. Comfortable bed. Noice toiletries. Cost is good - makes it easy to forgive the cons listed above. Easy to get taxis/Ubers. Solid iron and ironing board in the wardrobe.

It was reasonable and small and the desk clerks all kind. Its a 3 story hotel surrounded ny a larger condominium complex/residences. Nice 14th floor roof deck shared with residences.
