This was our second visit to the Savoy Palace and we weren’t disappointed. The room was spotless and the daily cleaning service was very good; in addition, the turn down service was equally good. We ate at 4 of the restaurants at the hotel, each of which had a different style and feel, but the food and staff were excellent in all of them. The highlight was the Galaxy restaurant on the 16th floor. It deserves a Michelin star. We will visit the Savoy Palace again.

This is an amazing comfortable hotel despite its size. The staff is extremely helpful & cordial every step of the way. Some downsides. If you’re an overpacker like me although rooms are quite large there isn’t adequate space to hang things or put into drawers. Breakfast buffet is outstanding, but when they get really busy in the morning you’re better off going to the barista to get your expresso or cappuccino. The lunch options were also outstanding. The drinks, wine & cocktails were stingy pours, especially at the sky bar which by the way has a spectacular view and very comfortable. The hotel is a keeper.

We were greeted warmly upon our arrival by staff. The room was kindly upgraded and was beautiful. We were offered a welcome drink and some Madeira wine in our room. We opted for an additional breakfast, there was confusion as I was under the impression this was included in the original booking. The turn down service was excellent. The spa was lovely although no locker was offered to us. The outside pool is a wonderful attraction. The main issue we had was an event celebrating fireworks - viewing party. It was advertised as starting a certain time but finished thirty mins afterwards. We fed back about this and asked to speak to managers but we had to chase this. When we did speak to a manager, they were very kind and took money off our bill. I would be happy to return
