Rich at the desk explained how everything and offered his suggestions for where to pick up dinner. The bed was super comfortable, the shower was clean, and all in all I would stay here again, and recommend it to my family

This is a good clean property, especially if your on a budget. Management was kind and helpful. Room was clean, nice hot water and everything was good. Would definitely stay again if in the area. Nicely situated close to shopping, groceries, resteraunts, and fuel stations.

This was the first time I’ve stayed at this motel. Check in was easy and smooth. The room was quiet and clean. Plenty of amenities. The beds were comfortable and lots of pillows with various levels of firmness. The only downfall is the parking. First night I parked right near my room but second night I had to park down the hill and out of my sight. Had to wait for someone to leave to park closer so I could load my car.

The staff was super helpful, as I booked the wrong night with Expedia. He helped us get it corrected. The room was very clean and well decorated. We would definitely stay again if ever in the area.

Room 108. Dated. Beds comfortable. Lighting functional but not warm. A little dark. Bathroom drains drained slowly. Shower lever had to be played with to turn shower on. Small spot of peeling on ceiling. No fan. On check in, we were made to wait 7-8 minutes while the check-in man practiced his Hungarian on the guests in front of us. We selected this place because it was rated over 9. Maybe just our room didn't live up to the high rating or maybe the reviews are inflated.

Parking convenient. Room was comfortable and clean. 70's style hotel. Stayed two nights. They did not make our beds of replenish our towels or tissue after night one. We had to ask for clean towels. Biggest issue was the desk clerk. He was having an issue with his computer when we checked in. He was loosing his cool and filter dealing with hus computer rep. Didn't appreciated the language. Overall the property was clean, and our room was clean (ish) and the counter staff was friendly and helpful. As for our room it had issues. The AC barely worked (I don’t think it actually did and could feel no difference between AC and just fan) and was all damaged (although apparently only 1 year old), the bathroom was terrible with a loose toilet, shower walls that were failing and black mildew all around the base. The main floors were fake hardwoods and buckling as though water damaged and the beds were extremely uncomfortable (way too soft) Maybe the other rooms were nicer but this one was not great and I felt like I was staying in someone’s damp basement. Having just stayed in another 2 star hotel the night before that was fantastic this one was terrible in comparison. We were only there for one night but I don’t think I would have stayed a second.

This is a slightly older facility and appeared to be popular with lay persons needing a room while in town performing service work. Nothing wrong with this, just pointing it out. Upstairs guest was noisy for a bit after 10PM but settled down soon after. Beds were well worn and could use replacing. Still slept well enough. Parking is a steep incline no matter how your room is oriented. The room was clean, just well used.

We stayed here to see the Christmas light show in Brookings and were surprised to see the high rating of this motel with rooms going for less than $100 a night. The property is in need of updating but the staff was professional and our room was clean. We would stay here again.

This place has gone downhill. It wasn't "nice" to start with but it was clean and comfortable. The last few times I've stayed there had been a musty odor and mildew on the shower curtain, sticky substances ont he table and nightstand, old separated toiletries, TV not working, shorted on towel, and the rooms are really looking very worn. To call this a one star motel is even a stretch. The owners need to seriously update the property. I have stayed here off and on for the last 4 years and it's gotten significantly worse in that time span

Solid hotel – ideal for a one-night stop on a road trip along the Oregon coast. Rooms are simple, clean, and functional. Great value for the price, just right for a short, comfortable stay.
