The hotel itself was great. Amenities were good. Staff was great if I had one item that I think more people visiting an upscale hotel would like is a better variety of food available. I noticed a lot of people going out for food or getting food elsewhere, as I said the hotel itself it’s wonderful. The art was magnificent. The surroundings themselves within the hotel were beautiful. I would gladly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a unique upscale type of hotel in St. Louis.

Has to be one of the most beautiful hotels we have ever stayed at. All of the employees were amazing. And the best amenities. Pool, shuffle board, pool table and the 2nd floor is a beautiful art museum. Rooms were clean with plenty of room

It was quiet and sleep well We had a problem with lights not turning on. and the coffee maker on dresser we could see was pulled out from plug just enough to cause the appliance not to operate couldn’t move the dresser (very heavy!) to plug it in Otherwise fine

My partner and I had an incredible time here. Dinner at Idol Wolf was fantastic — the food and service both hit the mark and set the tone for the evening. Afterward we wandered the hotel's art galleries with a complimentary night cap in hand, which felt like such a unique way to unwind. We capped off the night in the downstairs sauna before heading to bed, which was the perfect way to relax after a day of exploring. The gym was genuinely impressive too — well-equipped and clearly not an afterthought like at a lot of boutique hotels. Apparently the building used to be the YMCA. On top of all that, the staff was warm and attentive from check-in to check-out, and the overall amenities exceeded our expectations. This isn't just a place to sleep — it's an experience in itself. Highly recommend for anyone visiting St. Louis who wants a hotel with personality, great food, and a little bit of culture built right in. Would absolutely stay again!

Such a unique space! Art is emeshed throughout the entire building, creating a warm, inviting space (and a ton of photo ops). Every staff member we encountered was kind, engaging, and helpful. Having access to the pool and fitness center was wonderful for our stay. Breakfast at Good Press was 10/10. We will definitely be back!

Great place to stay. Pool/spa area is great and well maintained. Restaurant /bar were great and bartenders and front desk staff was great. Parking is way too expensive but valet drivers/staff were very friendly and efficient.
