"Views are amazing, but food was 2/10 in most places , I don’t know how they can ruin most basic meals and we are not picky. We even had the advantage level and access to two more restaurants and still, we maybe had one or 2 items we can eat. There is no steak house, the closest to beef we got was marinated stew. This place is expensive and we were going hungry for the first three days until we went to Mediterranean restaurant and they had some 6/10 dishes and my husband eats anything, and even he couldn’t finish half the things, because it’s just either to dry, no flavor or just not good. I don’t recommend it to any of my family or friends. This was a lot of money and I feel like it was a waste of money. Service was good 9/10 , hotel for some reason is rundown even though it’s new, if you look down to the pool , the floor of the pool is coming of in sections , not pretty at all."

"We booked a room with ocean view, they gave us a corner room with partial/obstructed view. Front desk manager told us we had to book a "beach front" room to have a full view. That argument with front desk manager took 2 days back and forth, and ruined my experience. This was not clarified in the Travelocity web site. I just paid extra to get a room with ocean view, and the hotel didn't do his part. Also, Pools were smaller than what i,ve seen in other hotels. The hotel says "all inclusive" but you have to pay for room delivery service, and pool-side cabanas ($65/day). The beach have sea weeds so you can't swim (early June) In Travelocity.com, it was noted as having 10 restaurants. There are only 6. When i asked front desk for the number of restaurants, they noted it as wrong information. Beside those, other thing were good. Staff were super nice. Food quality, except for the Mexican restaurant and taco booth, were excellent. Restaurants are easily accessible without early booking. Public area/rest rooms were very clean. Perfect A/C. Thumbs up for the hard working personnel."

"Since the first minute harassment didn’t stop regarding their membership they started after checking in claiming that they will help with luggage, even when I told them we are tired and kids are hungry they won’t leave us as lone, calling every morning and 2 different people still did the same after checking out they will not leave you alone even if you tell them directly and repeatedly to do so . Last one was rude Pools were not clean, my son got cut in his foot from dirty pool, it took them 50 minutes to get one to help clean his wound They offered free bowling game as a compensation if we sign a release !! Food was ok/ average at best no taste and change in the buffet The cleaning and restaurant staff were amazing , nice and hard working people . Spa treatment less than average This was our worst Cancún experience out of 6 visits in the last 7 years Lastly we received 2 phone calls at 4 am in the last night asking if we requested help with luggage ( they were calling the wrong room 103 instead of 203 ) The welcome gift was 10 dollars bottle of wine I’m sure the previous visitor left it behind same as we did to the next person Hotel credit was a joke most items not included and if you don’t mention to the shop they won’t give it We stayed in Moon the grand from June 4th till June the 9th"

"The room was clean as well as the resort as a whole, but it was a little rundown. It looks like it used to be a very nice property. I give it some grace because rundown doesn’t necessarily mean dirty, so it was clean, but it looked like they could use some upgrades and remodeling. There was no microwave in my room, and granted, that’s fine, but there has to have been a microwave somewhere on the resort, and they didn’t let us use it, and I think this was a ploy to get us to buy their nasty food via room service. I didn’t use the pools, but there was one pool that was closed. I guess for renovations and everything, that we ate through room service was mediocre. You probably could’ve made it better at home. We tried to book reservations at the two restaurants that they have on site, but the website said that they were booked and then wouldn’t allow you to make the reservation days in advance. When we brought this up to the staff, they said to just try again tomorrow, and we had the same issue the next day."
