“The receptionist was exceptionally kind, the location is prime, Lauderdale-by-the-Sea is a walkable distance, very comfortable beds, you can walk right out into the sand on the beach, pool was clean, free paddle board & kayak usage, & parking is included.”

“Dee Jay Beach resort is a great place to stay in Lauderdale by the Sea. Not only us it in a great location, our efficiency was comfortable and roomy. The owner was on site and attended to any needs we had. The backyard was a nice respite from the hectic travel and had a pool and lounge chairs to relax and rest. There was a shopping plaza a short distance away, which housed a super market, a diner, and so much more. A short drive, led us to a great area with lots of restaurants and shops. ……

“Great location but very dated and the bathroom floor tiles and tub were sort of gross. Room was clean but probably not worth it. Bed was a rock.”

“The view was amazing. Right out the doir was the ocean. Breakfast downstairs in the hotel with view of the ocean. Prices at the restaurant was within normal range not exaggerating because of the connivence, and tasted excellent. We had dinner there n the last evening and tasted great and bill was reasonable. Staff was friendly, room were cleaned on time and well and surroundings was well maintained. The last week before the end of vacation the sea became rough because it was the start of the……

“Staff was very nice, resort was clean and well maintained. Beautiful pool with a smaller secondary pool. We had a partial ocean view. Mini fridge in unit but No microwave. When we ask for one it was another $10 a day. That was a negative for us! That should be a basic amenity so we ate out all meals which was an inconvenient expense. At a Resort you would expect the minimum amenities at least! Then it says valet parking and self parking. $18 a day with valet on site or $18 self parking off site,……
