Great spot to explore Mission and Pacific Beach. Cool vibey retro appointed room right off Mission Blvd. Block away from the boardwalk and the bike path. LOVED the cold plunge!

The staff were helpful and the property partners with Cheap Rentals which provides limited beach rentals and luggage storage which were great additions. However, the area is busy and for 2/3 days of our stay there was construction/drilling.

The Boardwalk hotel was all we could ever want for a truly relaxing vacation. One block to the bay in a direction and one block to the ocean the other. The access to free equipment including chairs, SUP’s, bikes, and boogie boards was awesome and provided great fun. I highly recommend this unique, funky, and fun hotel. One of a kind!

We have stayed at the boardwalk several times now and will continue to come back every time we stay in San Diego. You cannot beat the location to Mission Beach and it is just the cutest hotel. We absolutely love it and would recommend it to anybody!

The free bikes, chairs beach umbrellas etc. were an excellent feature. Also The Boardwalk offered 15% off at several nearby restaurants. This is a beach location and there is always a bit of sand on the floor no matter how often you or the cleaning staff sweep or vacuum. Also, parking is very difficult and we paid $175 extra to have a reserved spot , which saved us from much aggravation looking for places. Bed was very comfortable. The front desk closes at 5 pm, and check in is online, and they'll email a door code. It's a cute place and we'd go again. Location is excellent.

The location is exactly 1 (very small) block from the beach and bay each way and the included beach gear and bike rentals were the icing on the cake. It's right in the middle of some smaller, cute restaurants/bars, stores, boutiques and markets. We had such a great time, my 15 daughter (hard to impress) fell in love and keeps asking when we'll be going back. Thanks for the experience and memories!
