Staff was so nice. Property is so outdated. Bathrooms are OLD. No water pressure. HVAC made noise as if the fan was giving out. Very old, tired, stale, outdated. Looks as if last updated in 1985

The staff was very nice. The property was old and needs updating. The spread was not enough to keep me warm at night, so after the first night of shivering and using my two jackets on the bed to keep me warm, the friend I was visiting in Charleston lent me a thick quilt for the last three nights. The drapes match the bedspread I bought over twenty years ago….(pic included) The breakfast was adequate.

The lobby was welcoming, the staff were so helpful and friendly, and our room was great. The hotel is in the beautiful historic part of town opposite the Visitor Center where the tour buses leave. Perfect!

The location was perfect for walking Historic Charleston. Comfortable room, nice TV, good breakfast. Great coffee available all the time. Great overall. Parking was very expensive $41 US a day.

Checking in is a bit of a hassle with location, BUT the staff definitely makes up for any inconvenience. Hotel is always clean and quiet. Love the coffee/hot chocolate bar available 24/7\. Was perfect coming in one chilly evening! .

This location was ideal for sight seeing and shopping and great food nearby. The hotel it’s across the street from the Visitor Center and bid station - and the buses are free! Every staff member we encountered was friendly and knowledgeable. It was the best hotel stay I’ve ever experienced.
