Very nice resort. Clean and well maintained. The property is a little on the small side but that's not a bad thing here. There are 3 pools plus the ocean. There are four restarants, one of which is a buffet. Overall a very nice resort.

We stayed at Sandos for 6 days. Each day they had fun activities by the pools. The Staff were so fun and energetic. Romario & Karla were great. Mitzy & Alex as well. Josetta at the reservation desk was so helpful. Erich at the concierge was friendly. Greg helped us with an Excursion and our Guide Jorge and driver Jose made our experience so fun. Mayte and her partner at Bar 1 was so very great, friendly and fun. If we go back to Cancun, we will absolutely stay at Sandos again!

Staff were amazing, food was not excellent but was good. Beach was loaded with seaweed, something the resort has no control of. Elevator kept breaking down daily, air conditioning inside restaurants was not cool at all. But overall we enjoyed our stay. Our room had ocean front views and that along was a plus.

Found out that booking through Expedia gave us VIP perks at Sandos...that was a nice surprise! Really liked the the three pools, little different vibes at each one. Lots of activities to participate in and evening entertainment was good that we attended, starts kind of late but thats due to people who have late dinner reservations. All the restaurants were great, very nice and tasty. Over all...great place to stay

Property seems to be getting run down. We stayed here a couple years ago and it was nice and looked good. This time the original room the ac did not cool the room down after running for 5 hrs on high at the lowest temp. Second room the ac leaked and the ceiling started falling to the floor. Did not want to change rooms again so we put a towel down and housekeeping came and took the ceiling pieces down.

Great resort, extremely friendly staff! Shout out Eddy from Bar Two! Pool and beach area are very nice. Room was excellent with always stocked fridge by the staff. Some of the food was a miss but we loved the brick oven pizza, Italian restaurant, and steak restaurant. Much older crowd which isn’t a bad thing but if you are young expect to be around an older crowd.
