Rooms are small but cozy. Hotel is close to several subway terminals and a 10min walk from the piers on either side. Staff is super friendly and helpful. Location is also away from the city buzz which makes sleeping much easier from busier parts of the city. Would definitely stay here again.

I arrived in NYC earlier than planned, so booked the Marriott for 2 nights before planning to transfer to my other hotel. I was so happy with the hotel and location, I cancelled my reservation at a more expensive hotel that I had originally booked for my trip. The location is great for food options and the subway, rooms are clean and have everything you need and the bathroom is great with ample vanity space for toiletries and make-up which is becoming rare. Surrounding area is very safe, and the staff were always very warm and friendly everything I come and went to the hotel. Will definitely stay again!
