Historic, beachfront hotel. We very much enjoyed our stay in Coronado. The hotel restaurants are expensive, but the nearby restaurants are reasonably priced. We loved being able to walk out directly onto the beach.

The Views offfered extraordinary experiences in comfort and location.
Situated across from an HVAC station emitting near-constant turbine-like whining noises 24/7, I recommend this place to travelers with some hearing impairment for maximum comfort at night. I also struggled with bath and bathroom access in a fight with swing doors that block access to sink and shower enclosure creating a constant tangle upon entry and exit. Still, I look forward to my next visit(s).

I have nothing negative to say. Our stay was wonderful. So many things to do if you want to take advantage. It was so relaxing which is very difficult for me to do. The beach area was nice and clean and so relaxing. There are various food places to choose from. Everyone was so nice and made us feel at home. I would come back in a heartbeat!

Great location. Really enjoyed the updated Cabanas rooms. Had a great time.
Definitely a packed hotel- the staff did as best they could but service was slow and check-in was chaotic.

The Hotel Del Coronado is a destination in itself. We stayed in the original Victorian hotel. It has been nicely maintained, the staff was uniformly cheerful and helpful. The hotel has many ancillary features- loungers and umbrellas on the beach, snack food everywhere and many other activities. In a way it was more like a cruise ship experience than a hotel.
It’s not the place for affordable lodging. That aside it was a great experience in every way.

We travel a lot and this was one of my favorite and most memorable stays yet! We stayed in one of the Victorian rooms and it was so beautiful and cozy. The whole resort is lovely and the beach sands are golden and glittery.

The beds were terrible, the ocean out front is unusable due to the raw sewage issue from Mexico, and our room had a view of the receiving dock where trucks ran all night. But the hotel itself is beautiful, iconic, and has great food, service and views. Food is, of course, compl overpriced.
