Three adults stayed here to explore North Cascades. The neighborhood was quiet and felt safe. The space is tight when the bed is pulled down from the wall but it worked for us as we were out exploring most of the day. The kitchen was stocked for use and the washer and dryer were nice to use after hiking.
This cabin was very clean and em had everything we were looking for while visiting the North Cascades!

Adorable cabin, in a quiet town. Right next to a cute bar and grill with good burgers that you can walk to. The fire pit was really nice and many places around the area sold fire wood. Quick drive to the northern cascades national park and Diablo lake. Would definitely stay here again!
The cabin was as described online. It’s a 1925 cabin that has been modernized is very clean in a great location for us as we were touring the North Cascades national Park. We would stay at this location again if in the area.
This was the perfect small house for our quick get away to NCNP. It was a short drive to the park. Cabin had all the essentials, including a washer/dryer. It would be ideal for 2 people, but can fit 4 (it's a little tight). Listing was accurate and it had great views of the mountains. Would stay again!

Perfection
Besides a little mess up with getting the check in information, the place was perfect for my son and I to use as base camp for several days of hiking. Clean and well furnished, it was just what we needed.
We loved the location and the cabin for the most part. A few suggestions:
A full length mirror (some people are short)
Hooks in the bathroom
Shelf or hanging caddy in the shower
A lamp, maybe on the desk (some people go to sleep earlier than others in the party)
Other than these, it was great.
Thank you, Daniel.
Great place to stay if visiting North Cascades National Park and Surrounds
The cabin is completely updated, clean and has everything you need. Great idea to have a pull down bed to give more floor space and it was super comfy! There is a full kitchen with a few basics like coffee filters, ziploc bags, sugar, some condiments, etc. You'll also find a washer and dryer AND detergent to clean your hiking clothes which is super nice. Fruit trees surround the house and blackberries were in abundance at the park down the street. We made a wonderful fruit salad. Communication with Daniel was great.
If you're going while the road through the park is still closed or iffy because of fires, check out Rockport State Park, Howard Miller Steelhead Park, Concrete Visitor's Center, Baker Fish Trap Observation Center, Lower Baker Dam Overlook, Lake Shannon, Baker Lake with a view of Mount Baker and everything you can do in Newhalem like the Visitor's Center, hikes, the Gorge Powerhouse, Trail of the Cedars, Ladder Creek Falls, etc.
We had a great stay at the cabin. The property was in the perfect location for our trip to the North Cascades. Everything in the cabin was as stated. We really enjoyed having the washer and dryer since we had been traveling for a week previous to our stay. The kitchen had everything we needed to prepare our meals. The cabin was very clean and comfortable. I would highly recommend this property when visiting the North Cascades.
Very nice stay! Daniel was very responsive with any question or need that we had during our stay. This is a great place if you want to explore North Cascades National park and surrounding areas. We were able to visit Mt. Baker, Gothic Basin as well as Cascade Pass and the park. Close proximity to so many places and it was an overall great stay.
My brother and I loved our stay! It was the perfect location to stay at while we visited North Cascades National Park. Its a small place, but very well designed and well stocked. Additionally, the stars at night are GORGEOUS! Highly recommend this place and this host.
Thank you for letting us stay Daniel!
Perfect home base to explore North Cascades National Park. The home is small but comfortable, and has absolutely everything we needed. We hope to come back next year.
This cabin was awesome, with all the amenities I needed. Very clean with modern appliances, as advertised. The nice washer and dryer came in so handy after a full day of hiking. The satellite tv was also a big plus. I enjoyed the Mountain View right out the front window every morning. Daniel, the host, was very prompt with any questions I had. It was a week full of incredible hiking, scenic views, and magical enchanting forests. I highly recommend this cabin to anyone that wants to visit North Cascades National Park.

Nice place- has all that you need, but I think 4 adults would be crowded. There’s no bedroom, there’s a pull down bed and a futon. When both are open/down there would be no room to walk. We only used the pull down bed, and even that was a bit crowded for just two of us. I was out exploring so it was ok. If you are looking for a base camp, and not a place to hang out, it’s a good spot.
