Great stay overall. The hotel was clean, comfortable, and in a convenient location. Staff was friendly and made everything easy from check-in to check-out. The room had everything I needed, and the bed was super comfortable. I’d definitely stay here again.
This hotel is a good value when compared to some of the surrounding properties. Don’t know the age but it felt refreshed and clean. Convenient to Top Golf and other area amenities. We would stay here again in the future.
Good place as far as dining options and location but the prices over shadow everything to the fact I mostly went outside the resort to get what I needed
MGM is a great place me and my family had a great time. Only thing I would say is the bar that's in your room do not touch it because if you lift it up and you do not use it you will get charged

Liked: Cleanliness, staff & service, amenities
Too smokey in the lobby and first level.
Lobby has a good Starbucks and other food shops. Pool was too far away with limited hours.
Everything was Great.
Sports and Race book was Fantastic.
My only recommendation;
They could use more of the 8 person mechanical horse racing games.
It was hard to get a seat
Property is very clean and so was room. Room and bathroom good size, we had two queens. Casino has good games at a decent price. Food everywhere is expensive. Skip stores inside resort and go to ABC store. Couldn’t really enjoy pool as it was too chilly. Be aware this is not centrally located but there is a monorail for a price.
Stayed in the restore room which was wonderful as the smoke in the casino is always somwthing I don’t like but the air cleaner and extras in the room were great.
Huge suite, everything you need.
Be aware. No coffee machine ao head down to Starbucks if you need in the lobby.
Pool complex was great. Noce big towels available and serving staff at your chair.
Prices are ,well, resort prices for the drinks
Stayed at a few other properties in Vegas and this is by Carle the cleanest, all elevators working and fairly fast. Lots of dining options in the hotel itself.
Did not like the cost of the $56.00 per night resort fee.. Used pool once. To get a fridge $35.00 per night. Rip Off. Too smoky in casino n smell of weed in hallways n casino. . Maid forgot to clean room twice in 7 days. All staff in hotel n casino were very friendly n helpful.
Our room was very clean and cleaning staff were very friendly and attentive. Front desk staff were also really helpful during the check-in process. We also appreciated that the elevators were broken up by floors since it made getting to our room much faster… even when the elevators were really busy. We really enjoyed the pool area but it was very crowded so you have to get there early if you want a chair.
On the down side, the beds were horribly hard and uncomfortable. For the price paid for these rooms I expected better beds and more amenities. We would have appreciated a coffee maker. Some rooms don’t even offer a small refrigerator, but fortunately ours did.
Overall, the hotel was very good. I felt like prices at the hotel were overinflated for just about everything but I think that’s true everywhere in Las Vegas, not just the MGM Grand.
My recent stay at MGM Grand was absolutely fantastic from start to finish. The check-in process was smooth and efficient, and the staff made me feel welcomed right away with their professionalism and friendliness.
The room was spacious, clean, and well-maintained, with a comfortable bed and a great view of the Las Vegas Strip. Housekeeping did an excellent job each day, ensuring everything stayed fresh and organized throughout my stay.
One of the highlights was the variety of amenities. From the incredible pool complex to the wide range of dining options and entertainment, there was always something to do without even leaving the property. The casino floor had a great atmosphere, and everything felt lively yet well-managed.
A standout experience was seeing David Copperfield Show—it was truly unforgettable. The illusions were mind-blowing, and the storytelling added a personal, emotional touch that made the performance even more engaging. It’s definitely a must-see while staying at MGM Grand.
The location is also a major plus, right on the Strip, making it easy to explore nearby attractions while still enjoying everything the hotel has to offer.
Overall, I had a wonderful experience and would highly recommend the MGM Grand to anyone visiting Las Vegas. I’ll definitely be staying here again on my next trip!
I chose The MGM Grand because I liked the way the pool looked in the photos, and the rooms seemed fine. The overall reviews were good as well. I was not disappointed in either. There are actually 4 pools, a big hot tub and a lazy river, but two of the pools were closed during our stay, probably because it was not terribly busy there yet. The hotel is massive, sprawling out in every direction, so the walk to anywhere in the hotel is exercise! One thing that has been frustrating in other hotels are the elevators, but at The MGM Grand, we never had to wait more than a minute for an elevator to arrive. It was also nice that the monorail was so convenient. The most we had to wait for a monorail to arrive was about 6 minutes, and its way cheaper than taxis or Ubers! We did not eat much at the hotel, but the one dinner we had there was in the Chinese restaurant and it was both expensive and not very good. I also wish there were other options for coffee, Starbucks being the only option (come on MGM, you can do better than Starbucks!). I was surprised that there were no coffee makers in the rooms, so there was no choice but to seek coffee elsewhere in the morning. The staff was always respectful and friendly, which really made us feel welcome. If we return to Las Vegas in the future, I would definitely consider returning to The MGM Grand for my stay.
This casino should’ve been put out to rest like the rest of them in Vegas I mean the only extravagance that they have walking into this 1980 lobby is the big gold lion but with that being said, let’s see if you like being nickel and dime the minute, your feet hit the ground they charge $25 for parking , but you can’t go in and out $50 resort fee nightly I did not get the room I was promised on Expedia and I paid extra for they said they don’t guarantee rooms from a third-party booking nice to know now the room has been remodeled recently. It bed was comfortable sheets were good. But now they have a new trick up their sleeve to steal a couple more dollars from you. They have a mini bar that’s full and a few items on top that if you hold onto them for more than 30 seconds, it builds your credit card so there romance kit on top of the mini bar fridge that we thought that somebody left behind didn’t realize it was for sale did not open it put it back but still was charged $65 fee so then I had to waste my time to call back to the front desk dispute the charge with the lady, had talked to her for 10 minutes after being on hold, now the housekeeper has to make a inventory list, and then in 3 to 4 days I will see a credit back on my credit card for the $65 so wasted 10 minutes of my time 10 minutes of the ladies time that answer the phone and 10 more minutes of the housekeeper time that has to clean rooms so a total of 30 minutes to dispute a fake charge that could’ve been avoided.
