This is a unique hotel near to Glover Gardens. Very chic renovation of an old church and adjacent building. Friendly staff and beautiful room with great view of the harbor.
The hotel was cute but Nagasaki in general is a depressing city with not much to do. The hotel pix exaggerated what the actual feel was like. The hotel overlooks a shipping port so not really great views you’d expect. Staff was nice and food was ok. I would not have stayed in Nagasaki at all if I knew what it was gonna be like (felt more like what I’d imagine North Korea to be). Nothing against the hotel itself (although it can do much better) but you’ll be surrounded by abandoned buildings and almost nothing to do 😢

What a wonderful hotel!! The attention to detail in the recent renovation is pure art! Lovely staff, gorgeous food and just a quiet stroll from the hustle of Nagasaki!!’
Very close to Grover Park with a great view of the bay from our room. The staff are unbelievable! Try the Matcha ice cream at the food truck in the park.
I’d give this place 10 stars if I could. We were treated like royalty. The place and the rooms are beautiful and elegant. The history and significance of it includes surviving the atomic bomb. There’s 2 original windows in the dining room that survived the bomb. It’s a hidden gem in Nagasaki that I can’t say enough about. Everyone in our party of 5 said they liked this hotel the best. If you want to be treated better than any other hotel you’ve ever stayed at try this place.
It’s my first time visiting Nagasaki. I picked hotel Indigo because for its historical vibe. It’s my first time staying at hotel Indigo, I love its boutique size, and the reflection of the city and city’s history in it’s decoration. The hotel is beautifully renovated, reflecting on Nagasaki’s rich trading history with the West and China.
The hotel is conveniently located right next to the famous Glover Garden and Oura church. It’s also walking distance to famous sites such as Chinatown and Dejima.
The hotel restaurant is located at the former onsite Cathedral, we had the 7 course dinner, delicious and the service was excellent.
The front desk manager Mr. Hang made sure our stay is comfortable and welcoming.
Our room is very large by Japanese standard, the beds were comfortable, and the shower had great water pressure.
I highly recommend this hotel for anyone who is visiting Nagasaki
