Lovely rooms and hotel. The bathroom was small. The transfer from train station to hotel which hotel arranged was excessive cost for the 5 minute drive. All staff were friendly and accommodating.

Grand Hotel et Des Palmes

We enjoyed this hotel and if we come back to Palermo we would stay there again. The food was wonderful and the location is great for seeing some parts of the city.

The concierge staff are professional, helpful and efficient. We loved the breakfasts (a wide array of Sicilian patisseries as well as fresh fruit and a good selection of seeds and nuts and hot food) and the beautiful dining room in which the breakfasts are held. We also loved their Gattopardo room - great for reading and cocktails before dinner. The hotel is located on a main road in a central location. Good walking distance to the main sights.

The name of the hotel says it all, Grand. From the second you walk in you can feel the history and the elegance. Every member of the staff went above and beyond to make sure that my last two days in Sicily were perfect. Whether it was booking us a dinner reservation or bringing a complementary cake to my room for my girlfriend’s birthday they truly showed every bit of Italian hospitality. The rooms are phenomenal with huge showers and lots of natural light. We also ate at the restaurant here which was top three meals of our 2 week trip. Hope to be back soon.
