My only critique is related to dining. The two dinner options were a bit too fussy. Simpler menu options would be very welcomed. And obviously the dining prices from breakfast to dinner were $$$$ but aside from that it was an amazing resort that our family loved.

Beautiful hotel with lush grounds, however a very mediocre experience. Celebrated our 5th wedding anniversary here and expected a much more personable, memorable stay. Average dining options, extensive waiting times for movement around hotel grounds, lack of service (dry cleaning, valet), poor communication and lack of information provided as to offerings at the hotel. Overall a very disappointing experience for such a special occasion especially with the price paid!

The St Regis more than lived up to its reputation. From the property, to the staff, top notch. Pool area is beautiful and the beach is right there with chairs, umbrellas, well attended to by the staff. French press coffee delivered every morning and cookies at night. Some luxury properties are now charging for coffee, water, etc. There was none of that here. Get there before November when it,s being sold to Four Seasons. Thanks for a great vacation St Regis.

Beautiful Property with all the amenities needed to enjoy multiple days. Great in-house restaurants. Polite and friendly staff. No need to leave the property. Nothing to do around the Rio Grande town, it seems to be very humble and forgotten.

The property was luxurious. They were generous with helping us celebrate a special occasion. the Pool is open 24 hrs. (this is rare). The rooms were tastefully appointed, the staff overwhelmingly nice and accommodating, and it was only 2.5 miles from town - but felt isolated and tranquil. The private beach was second to none.

Gorgeous resort property on a nature preserve/compound with private homes, bike paths, animal shelter, golf course, restaurants. We did not leave the compound our entire stay. Excellent service and bikes are provided to explore the property. Tours and transportation available on golf carts. Only warnings are: Can't wear heals or ride bikes on the wooden paths to the rooms so ladies bring flats. Iguanas roam the property freely and jumped in the pool. Stray cats and birds harass you when eating in the outdoor cafe.

The service at this resort is above and beyond anywhere i have stayed in the world. The staff were genuinely friendly and helpful. They worked together as a team and followed through when we needed assitance. For example, my daughter LOVED the nightly smores. A couple nights the smores were not available. So we asked Emmanuel at Seagrapes if they woud be out that night. There was no plan for smores....BUT he said they could make some for my daughter! He passed that message to the following manager and when we came out at 6pm, they were all set up for smores! My daughter was so excited! This is a small example but our entire trip was like this! Josh was an incredible server. Vivianette helped us get to go breakfast when we had a very early excusion! The butlers even had breakfast ready IN OUR CAR one day we were leaving early! The ladies who gave us cookies for turndown service were so friendly. The team working the pool and chair service was awesome. There was never a line at valet or the restaurants. We had an A plus experience and i credit the service. Wow. Way to go!
