Overall it is a good place. The location, 1/2 block from the water is the best thing about it. It is also clean and in good condition. No frills. No coffee makers in the room but they had coffee each morning in the lobby. The pool is clean and the pool area kept up well. No heater, so it is refreshing (especially on a hot day). It is a short drive to good restaurants and Stearn's Wharf.

Paying to park at a motel 6 is absolutely ridiculous but they do have a parking lot. The front desk staff was very rude upon check-in and fortunately we never had to interact with them after that. No amenities whatsoever. The toilet paper was almost gone in our bathroom, no tissues anywhere (I'm pretty sure they just aren't provided) and no food nearby. We will never stay here again.

Great location, convenient to the airport, shopping, and nearby attractions. The room and property is very clean and well maintained. I stayed in 2 different rooms during my stay and the transition was smooth and easy. All the staff I encountered were very friendly, helpful, and understanding. My luggage was left in another city and they were very accommodating. Some of the most amazing people. I didn’t use the pool but parking was plentiful and the area was quiet. I’d stay here me on my next trip to Santa Barbara.

Bougie Motel 6 vibes… in a good way :) Modern retro decor, super clean, and looks like recently renovated. Room is small but can comfortably fit 2-3 people. Great shower, working drains, and AC that blasts. Nice staff and free coffee at the front desk. Plus, about a 10-minute walk to State Ave. Simple, clean, and convenient.
