Great stay!!!! Everything was incredibly clean! Breakfast was under staffed so we had to go elsewhere. That was a bit of a bummer but over all can’t complain. We really enjoyed our stay!
Lovely historic hotel. Felt like stepping back in time. Very friendly, helpful, accommodating staff. Quaint. Easy walking distance to shops and restaurants.
Gibson Inn was a perfect stay in Apalachicola. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The property is well maintained and beautiful. We were very happy with our stay and only wished it was a bit longer to enjoy the beautiful pool and property.
Very friendly staff, helpful, made the experience a good one. Would stay here again but would be sure to buy bottled water. Florida water is a bit tough to drink, in my opinion.
Loved the pool, the walkability of the area where the hotel is located, and the bar/restaurant were very good.
We loved the room! The balcony was great! We stayed in the original building and loved it, but the stairs were a little tight from the second to the third floor. Having an elevator in the newer part was a big plus! It’s very convenient to downtown, so we were able to walk and explore.
Loved my stay at this beautiful historic hotel in Apalachicola. The property is impeccably maintained, full of charm, and beautifully lit at night. There is something special about staying in a place with so much history while still enjoying all the comfort and attention to detail. A wonderful experience from start to finish.
Room was awesome. Requested a room in the original hotel. Huge deck goes around the building on the second floor. Chairs for sitting outside. Pool was spectacular. Loved the low deck areas. Had a couple of lounge chairs in the shallow water. Waterfall was nice. Hot tub was nice, but not as hot as they are in other places. Water in bathroom took forever to get hot, but once it got there. It was hot. Double headed shower was great. Shampoo, conditioner and lotion all wonderful.
Staff was awesome, pool was clean but room smelled horrible of mold and mildew as did the building has you first walk in, which gave me a headache. You could smell a light fragrance trying to hide the very mushy smell. Building has lots of character. Great location as you could walk to everything the town had to offer. I really liked this area but don’t think I could stay here again. Sorry.
Everything about our stay was just as we'd hoped. The staff was friendly and accommodating, our room was clean and comfortable and breakfast was delicious.
