Automatically after exiting we felt like we were in a bad area. A lot of unsafe feelings and vibes. Lots of people walking around and homeless looking people. As soon as we walked in there was a strong smell. Not a clean one either. Like they were covering a bad smell. No one was at the front desk we had to wait 20 minutes for someone to help us. Wouldn’t check us in early. Felt uneasy as we walked out there were strange people and homeless people out front trying to go inside. Called asking for a refund. No luck. Called Expedia for customer service help thinking if I explained how I felt unsafe letting my family stay here that they might help find a way to get a refund. They called the hotel manager who denied a refund then the Expedia customer service woman hung up on me. I tried to call the hotel after and the manager “wasn’t there, he just left” everything about this hotel was sketchy and bad vibes. The hotel looked nothing like the pictures and it was a waste of $ that I can’t get back. We booked on a Friday and went Saturday to check in and decided absolutely not we aren’t staying in this sketchy unsafe place. Wish Expedia would make it right but I will call the hotel and complain to the manager on Monday. A WASTE OF $112 I will never get back. I opted to pay over $220 for a hotel last minute for the safety of my family. DON’T BOOK HERE!!!!!
