Our stay at the Gurney’s was amazing. We stayed in Oceanfront King room top floor and we had a very nice view of the ocean. We could hear the sound of waves all day from the room which was very relaxing. We could also see the sunrise from our room. Aside from the room, the spa facilities were excellent. For resort guests, bathhouse access is included and we utilized it for both days we were there. Gurney’s also provides free transportation/ride to places in Montauk and we used this service multiple times during our stay. We also interacted with multiple staff members throughout the stay that made our trip memorable. We would definitely return again.

Went for an overnight mid September and it was so lovely. Spa and pool gorgeous. They do charge a fee for booking with expedia which brings the price up to what they offer on their website which we did not know about.

Excellent stay from start to finish. We had a gorgeous view in our oceanfront room and the chaise lounge on the patio was a great way to enjoy when not hanging on the beach! The indoor saltwater pool also provides beautiful views and ocean breezes and is a great way to end a complementary bath house session. We stayed for two nights and I just wish we could have stayed longer! Such a vibe, whole resort is just beautiful. Can’t wait to come back !

This property is very special and the staff ensure you have a very relaxed vacation. The location is exceptional on the beach in Montauk NY which is the end of Long Island. Do not miss the spa especially the bathhouse plunges. But also go visit the little towns and the excellent restaurants.

It’s Montauk, you go here for the beach, but if you also like to dip in a pool, it’s inconvenient, plan on walking an entire trail through a parking lot to get to it. I had a prime spot for a room, choose wisely, if it’s not beachfront, you’ll also walk. It’s Gurney’s, known for its spa, it’s truly the best part of the resort, beautiful and services are fine. The staff is very nice here but SLOW. I wouldn’t say in this case you get what you pay for, if you’re looking for a Montauk vacation you’re paying for the name if you’re going for the spa you’re also paying for the spa and personally, it’s not a family vacation spot, no activities. It’s definitely a tourist spot. Dog friendly, plan to hear dogs barking.

The perfect experience started with the reception. There’s the most lovely woman there. I’ve called her halo. I forgot her name, but she was a spectacular hard worker gave me a beautiful ocean room. She really really attended to her audience and all the staff was very helpful very good people, beautiful atmosphere , gorgeous beach. Food was good spa really nice everything about it is a 10 the only place to stay in Montauk and the Hamptons area if you want a full facility, you stay at Gurneys . we try to it’s has all the amenities you will need . very attentive staff go every year when we are here 😎
