For a luxury hotel the decor was so so. There was no turn down service and no floor to ceiling mirrors. Staff was extremely nice. I used to live on Stone Canyon road and as such went many times for events and dining. In fact my husband's 70 birthday was held there. I've also stayed at the Plaza Athenee and di Savoia. Very luxurious.

The Belair Hotel was a quiet and secluded escape, perfect for a private stay. The front desk staff was incredibly kind, and the bellhop and valet services were smooth and efficient. My room was spotless, with excellent amenities, and I loved that water was available throughout the property. The on-site coffee shop was beautiful and high-end—perfect for a morning treat. For a spur of the moment 1 night getaway in LA, you just cant beat THBA. If quiet is your thing (except for the fabulous piano in the bar), this is it for you. Super comfy bed. Deep tub. Rain shower.
