Excellent location to spend your days during in Cartagena. From reception by Nathalie to breakfast service by Liz, we have no words to say how helpful and attentive they were. At nighttime we would be greeted by the desk clerk as well. During every hour of day the staff was very helpful and made you feel welcomed. Highly recommend it.

We stayed at Getsemaní Hotel in March and had a wonderful overall experience. The hotel is beautiful, clean, and in an excellent location. We were able to walk to so many incredible restaurants, attractions, and neighborhoods, making it easy to explore Cartagena on foot. One thing that really stood out was the front door staff. They were always friendly, welcoming, accommodating, and eager to help with recommendations, transportation, or anything we needed. Their hospitality made us feel right at home. The only downsides were that there was construction taking place right on the corner during our stay, which created some noise, although that's obviously outside of the hotel's control. My biggest suggestion for improvement would be the pool and bar experience. There didn't seem to be enough staff available, so service was slower than expected. It would also be nice if music started earlier by the pool. Guests relaxing poolside at 9:00 or 10:00 a.m. should be able to enjoy a relaxing atmosphere with music rather than waiting until later in the day. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay and would absolutely recommend Getsemaní Hotel. The beautiful property, outstanding location, and exceptional hospitality from the staff made it a memorable stay. With a few improvements to the pool experience, it would easily be a five-star hotel.

Amazing property, clean rooms, gorgeous setting, attentive staff. 3 minute walk into the heart of Getsemani with lots of restaurants sightseeing and parties at night! EXCELLENT HOTEL! So beautiful and quiet. Rooms are spectacular and the pool is small but comfortable. Staff was super nice and Carlos at check in was amazing. I would stay here again for sure. If I had to critic something about the hotel was that the room floor was a little dusty but the middle of the hotel is open to the outdoor so that can happen. Other then that everything about my stay was great!

The hotel ambiance, design and location was amazing. The staff went above and beyond especially the officer that was stationed outside of the hotel. He would go out of his way to make sure our family was safe and comfortable leaving and entering the hotel. The only downfall was the hotel not willing to accommodate the days we missed due to our flights being canceled multiple times.
