Located in the beautiful Polanco area of the city, it was close to museums and great restaurants. The staff was welcoming and kind. The food was excellent. Excellent location near food, museums, shops. It was a bit cool, so we didn’t take advantage of the pool or spa. Overall a great property. However, the lighting in our room flickered and there was a pervasive mildew smell from in the bathroom. The wifi was almost nonexistent, so working from the hotel was impossible. That was incredibly frustrating and wasn’t just our room. They gave us a room on the 4th floor. The following morning they started constructions at 7:00 a.m. sanding walls on the 5th floor. On Friday night they had a private party on the 6th floor which has a bar. The music and banging from the celling came through our room. At 11:00 a.m. we called and they gave us another room to sleep in. The noise fromt he street and the noise in this hotel was way too much to handle.
